I'm talking about dealing with his failure by trying to overcome it. By listening to the criticism and make improvements for example. He's not doing that by saying he's given it his best shot (he clearly hasn't after just 6 episodes) and walking away from it.
But putting that aside, I do think his decision is the best for the show. Matt LeBlanc after a shaky start is capable of being the main man I reckon, and Chris Harris and Rory Reid have been very good, albeit from what appears to be a serious, less "fun", car review perspective. I predict series two will be better, providing they don't bring in another alpha male.
