The only thing this poll shows like most of the others is there are more plastic Liverpool fans than most :ffs:

Can we add Inler to this poll. Relatively big name and although it's harsh to expect players to slot right in he's basically supposed to be our Cambo replacement and doesn't look anywhere close to being able to hack it in the Prem. Compare him to the other new boy in the mid in Kante and they're worlds apart at present.

Any Villa signing between the 6-9 million mark.

Thauvin for £12 million is bloody awful business.

Depay.

It always happens, but Firmino cost £21m, he'll cost £29m if all the add-ons are met. Hopefully he'll cost £29m.

2 appearences. 1 goal, 3 assists.

I genuinely didn't know that. I saw him vs Arsenal and thought he was shite, then I read he was atrocious against Sheffield Wednesday and since then he's been benched pretty much hasn't he?

He is shite, I was taking the piss. That goal and those assists were all vs Northampton  And yeah, he got hooked at half time vs Wednesdays reserves after spending 45 minutes giving the ball away and running head on in to his team mates. Genuinely the worst perfomance I've ever seen from one of our players. Think Schteve has had enough of him already.

Also Chris Waddle said he is/could be incredible, so you know he's definitely crap.

If he has the Waddle kiss of death already, he's fucked. Makes more sense that them goals/assists were against Northampton, I thought I was going mad haha.

I know Cabella didn't do great last year but to spend £12 million on a flop and loan out what could have been a very useful player at times is dreadful. Surely he wasn't a McClaren buy?

Surprised Pedro hasn't been as good as I remember him being a few years back. Firmino had been played out of position from what I understand. Depay hasn't started too well but I don't think Van Gaal's robotic tactics have helped him too much. Pedro is probably the one I'm more disappointed in, playing in a struggling side hasn't helped

I don't know, rumour was he agreed to be our manager well in advance and wanted the players we signed this summer before he even joined. Seems likely given how quickly we did our business (very unusual for Ashley and co.) but if he's kicked him out the team already then maybe he didn't have a say in Thauvin.

I'd have liked Cabella to stay. Clearly a talented player but was stifled and had his confidence almost immediately ripped apart by the negative Pardew. I mean, that moron played Sammy Ameobi instead of him ffs. He's already met the minimum amount of games played to see his Marseille move become permanent, and is apparently happy there, so I guess that's the end of him in black and white.

I like how the Liverpool fans keep telling us it's definitely Depay when there was an equal amount of hype about Firminho and they cost around the same amount of money. Firminho is older though and so far Depay has had some good games and contributed with goals and assists.

Firminho has done the square root of fuck all. It's definitely him so far though both have time to improve.

I'm willing to cut Depay some slack given how quickly people have gotten on his back and how young he is. I reckon Darmian has been a bigger flop for us. For a Rb whose main attributes are supposed to be defending he's looked far too shaky and seems to have fallen behind Ashley Young for the Rb slot. Never a good look.

I'm not a Liverpool fan and I say Depay. Firmino got injured for a month so there's less to judge him on.

Interesting how you'll cut the newborn 21-year-old Depay some slack, but not the decrepit 24-year-old pensioner Firmino. Both are new to the league and have loads of time to come good. Depay has been the flop of the season so far tho.

While Firmbody also looked a good player in the BundesIm'ardLiga where Depay looked a player in the nevergonnabe and past it division.

I mean Kuyt is tearing shit up in Holland for fucks sake.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Interesting what a difference a couple of weeks can make. I'm pretty sure Sterling would have been on the list before Bournemouth and Seville.

Can I guess that the two votes for Delph came from Villa fans? A bit harsh to label a player who was injured in pre-season and then injured again playing for England after fully 20 minutes on the pitch for the club a flop.

Do you believe Delph will ever make it at City? For me, he was a flop as soon as his pen hit the paper. Would be happy to be proven wrong.

In footballing terms the gap from 21 to 24 is pretty huge. At 21 most players arent even close to beingfully devloped and in mind and to a lesser extent body they are still just kids. The same can't be said for players at 24.

Don't agree , its better to have shown glimpses of quality along with some productivity rather than absolutely nothing, injury's or not.

Anyway both have flopped so it's a bit pointless carrying this on.

Wouldnt that mean Firminho has flopped more. Given Depay has come from a shitter league you would expect him to take more time to adjust?

I was referring more to the hype argument between the Man Utd and Liverpool fans.
