As I said before I see quite a few parallels between you and us the first year back in league one under Adams. We were bottom of the table at Xmas and then went on a ridiculous winning run, and then simply ran out of steam - injuries, suspensions and a general knackered squad. How are you in terms of depth of squad? I think that may be key for you this season to convert a good run into a top six place.

Our squad depth is as good now as I’ve ever known it tbh after adding 6/7 players in January. We have 2 for virtually every position now and in many cases the back up is just as good as the first teamer. I think that’s why we are on a good run again now… so much competition for places. Players that we expected to be key players this season aren’t even making the bench anymore. I genuinely have no idea what our best 11 is, which is a good problem to have. I think we will add to the defence in the summer but don’t expect too many coming in unless we lose some.

Our squad is strongish but we have now lost Kieran Lee for 2/3 months but we have Dempsey or Sadlier to step in. The one player we cannot lose is Charles we simply do not have a replacement for him. We have a raft of decent for lge one forwards but they dont have goals in them.
Another is Santos we only have one Tall dominant centre back and this certainly needs addressing in the summer

Would not surprise me one bit if Wigan came in for Fossey come summer.
