Wilkin's recruitment in fairness was good - players like Moult, Manny and Connor Jennings. The problem was he didn't really know what to do with them and was intent on setting us up not to lose. The final straw was the Trophy final against North Ferriby when we threw away 2-0 lead - he subbed Keates for Evans with about 15 mins to go and lended up losing on pens. It appeared he had lost the dressing room and went the following day.

Why Bignot? He didn't do much until he suddenly got the funds to buy half the Kidderminster team and then took Solihull up. Okay, he did take them up, but even a scrap metal salesman like Glenn Tamplin can manage a promotion with enough money. Sacked from Grimsby and not popular with players. Don't understand why he's suddenly a 'name' in non-league management circles.

He was never buying players from us. We couldn't pay players at the time so they were all jumping ship.

Leave Kevin Wilkin alone - he's ace. Your loss, our gain.

Very much so and I wouldn't have sacked him. I think he got a bit of a rough deal at Wrexham with senior players causing him shit and the board not properly backing or supporting him. I'm glad to see he's doing well. Apparently he's a nice bloke too. And he's ace at powerpoint presentations.

Does he still watch games from a squatting position?

No, he's learnt to stand up. Seems a nice bloke. Only ever seen him lose it with one player, David Moyo, and frankly he would have tried the patience of a dozen Hindu saints.

Bath City manager Gary Owers watched yet another one of our defeats tonight and is expected to take over as our new manager.. very very fucking underwhelmed by this.

4 weeks of wait for this.. Fuck you GI.

RIP TUFC

Thank you to GI and Harrop for all they have done for my beloved club.

I'm torn here.

Yes, it is not the big name we have been lead to believe it would be. But, both Owers and Kuhl seem to be strong characters - Owers seems to have done well at Bath while Kuhl comes in with a decent reputation. IF Fatboy Harrop lets them get on with it, it may well work out. If he decides he wants to play manager and pick the team every week then we're fucked.

Not expecting an instant upturn though, which is a shame as that's something we desperately need seeing as we're currently on for a total points tally of about 12...

It doesn't appear to be a lazy appointment by the owners, though.

Both have been with us. Gary Owers was number 2 under Dillon (don't know much about him to be honest), and Kuhl was number 2 under Waddock initially, and was brilliant - a proper fans favourite and the bad cop of the managerial team.

Gary Owers is a good solid coach, not sure as a manger but he will get your side well drilled in the basics first. Kuhly is, well, Kuhly. He will sort your discipline and get you fit. He will also sort out the slackers he has no time for those that won't graft. If you want silky smooth football these probably aren't your men, if you want to fight and stay up, they probably are.

Well, well, well...

Fingers are well and truly crossed. I'd be surprised if they can find another group of people as bad as themselves (or worse!). "Advanced discussions" sounds...promising.

I guess they thought they'd have the freehold by now, weren't expecting the opposition to this, and are looking to move on. Or at least that's what I'm hoping has happened.

Who would have thought private ownership could lead to such a state of affairs...

Don't worry I still think you gulls will survive longer than Argyle and when they collapse (happening any time now) you will be able to bolster your gates with some of the swilly lot.

What's gone wrong at Plymouth now? I'm sure they have been in a mess in the past too

Pittman's been about average. Not a first team regular every week but scored at about the same rate as all our other forwards.

Rumours last night on different forums that Osborne has agreed to sell.

Potentially the greatest news we've had in years. Or possibly even worse than now. Praying it's the former.

Well, safe to say crisis mode is fully activated again.

Don't know if I can even stomach going on Saturday.

"Osborne to stay for another 5 years" according to the article on the bbc.

Lets hope there's as much truth in that as there is with everything else he's said in his time here.
