Will be a very tough game for us considering the form Spurs are in. Additionally, Klopp wouldn't have had enough time with the players in training either. But when was the last time Spurs beat Liverpool?I expect a 1-1 draw.

On the other hand Klopp is described as "MANAGER" whereas Pochettino is merely described as "head coach". Those caps must be significant. 1-5 Liverpool.

As said, not enough time for Jurg to have stamped his authority, but hopefully a new manager being appointed will be enough to get the players putting in more effort than we have seen so far in this turgid campaign. They'll know with Klopp that there is no fucking around and they're out to fight for their places, rather than with Rodgers who, towards the end, basically had his favourites and threw a dart blindfolded at a board with names on it to choose the rest.

A close game but an equal share of the points at the end. A few goals in it too I reckon, with both Kane and Sturridge finding the net.

2-2

Yup. As long as we do better than Arsenal did the last time they played at WHL, I'll be happy.

Klopp will have little time with the squad to implement what he'd like so not reading too much into it, plus we'll still have a few big players out. Spurs will have Dier out though, he's been very important for them so far this season which is a boost for us.

We had a very good record against Spurs under Rodgers though, so it'd be nice if that'd continue!

In all honesty, despite some Liverpool fans doubting the ability of Klopp, I think they'll win 3-1.

Liverpool have the messiah (no not him, a new one) at the helm now and with that in mind I have to predict a 7-1 win to Kloppo's boys.

This exaggeration of everything Klopp by others on behalf of Liverpool fans is highly enjoyable.

It will certainly be tougher than the away game against Arsenal.

Can't wait to see what Klopp can do with the club and players, but it will take take to for him to make his mark so I'm cautious about this match, still fancy us snatching a win, Spurs: 1-2 Liverpool.

Just hope Spurs don't get the rub of the green like they did against city. With most players not coming back until tomorrow hardly the perfect preparation for your first game. Never liked Spurs away as we always got beat but past 2 visits have been a walk in the park can't see it being that Saturdsy lunchtime. Going for a Desmond we'll go 2-0 up through Sturridge and Coutinho then Klopp can see how leaky our defence is and concede two goals in last 15.

I guess it could be worse, your players could be international quality and actually start for their countries. Lucky I guess that most will be well rested.

Maybe he meant the likes of Flamini, Bellerin, Arteta, Mertesacker, Koscielney, Monreal etc. Players from absolute top top club in Europe!

Could also be worse and have the national team your player starts for give them an ACL at 18 years old & put them out for the season. Gutted for Gomez and also makes Skrtel & Lovren's positions more stable ffs.

Gomez looked pretty decent, massive shame when he was taking the step up.
