Won't be there, 7000 miles away. Lost for words really that Tranmere couldn't even take it to the last game.
0-4 in front of 5500.

The fact that no one started a thread until this morning is quite telling. I'm not going despite having a season ticket, would rather stick pins in my testicles than watch 2000 Bury fans have a promotion party whilst Ryan Lowe rubs our noses in the fact we'll be in the Conference next year.

3-0 to Bury.

Someone should go and stick pins in Ryan Lowes testicles!

For all the talk coming out of Prenton Park in the last few days we will undoubtedly see the same lazy, gutless, "can't be asked' attitude from most in white shirts that we have seen time after time this season. Another home defeat me thinks but hopefully Southend, a proper club living within their means unlike a certain other team, will win and go up.

We haven't kept a clean sheet in 20 games and are the worst team in English football, what were you expecting?

Congratulations Bury you deserve promotion with your recent run. :2thumb: Enjoy your celebrations tonight. I'm down but never in my wildest dreams did i think we'd finish in the play offs this season so i'll celebrate that!

Well done Bury, congratulations on your promotion, hope you all have a good party. Southend WTF? Tranmere Rovers players with the exception of the youth team who played today, go and fuck yourselves. FOREVER!

I'll be watching Tranmere's results with interest next season. Hopefully you can come back up because I want another away game at Prenton Park... Barnet just aren't an adequate replacement.

Don't you want us to be promoted next season? ;)

What a lovely day. Whiling away at the Philharmonic across the river, neither discussing nor thinking of any potential results on the day. Hid away in the home end freezing to death and being rained on, managed to tone down our celebrations on the goal though I did jump up on reflex, then joined the other fans at the final whistle. Went nuts on the Prenton Park pitch, headed to Gigg Lane once that was over and enjoyed the great atmosphere with the celebrations back home. I didn't contemplate this outcome in the slightest. Just felt we'd bring a good number over as a pre-playoff valediction, get a narrow win and accept Southend's inevitable win. There was a great roar and dancing after each Morecambe goal went in, and a chant of "We only need one goal" after the second. We got it with our only clear cut chance. I love how we drew the whole thing out back in Bury too, such a hell of an occasion and maybe it won't end so ingloriously this time.

Tranmere had a good go and frightened us consistently during our post-goal time wasting despite crap finishing. With some confidence they'd bounce straight back with that side we saw today, although I'm sure they're mostly departing. They're still better than most/all Conference sides but things will obviously be very different for them next season. Hopefully the atmosphere won't be as miserable and they won't have the odd sulking thug stomping around the ground. It's absurd they're going down and they'll need some luck and a lot of unity.

Congrats on your promotion Bury, can't say I wasn't jealous seeing your party on our pitch whilst watching Soccer Saturday though. Hopefully the promotion party we've been waiting 23 years for comes sooner rather than later!

Well done Bury and it was classy of your club to ask fans to hold off celebrating until they got back to Gigg Lane. I could understand why some couldn't resist though.

DDE, of the senior players, Koumas, Power, Hume and Fonners put in a decent shift yesterday and only Jason of those is possibly going to be back next season. Atm, my ire is more directed to the Palioi, whose failure to act quickly when Adams lost the plot has been compounded by a hike in season-ticket prices for conference football.

Hope to be posting on a L2 thread again about Rovers someday, but have the feeling it isn't going to be any time soon.
