Potentially my last ever league home game - won't be coming back to watch the Bury game if we're already down. 1-0 Oxford.

We don't really have anything to play for so, if you're up for it, you should get a result.

The beginning of the end for Tranmere was 6 years ago mate when we didn`t win at Scunthorpe final game of the season. It`s been downhill ever since. Having said that we are still, and always will be bigger then your pathetic excuse of a club

If tranmere don't win this I think they are down. This really is last chance and I think they'll scrape a win. 1-0.

Tranmere lose this and they're gone i'm afraid and even a drawer won't be much good for them. I'd hate to see them relegated as i've had a soft spot for them from when i used to watch Saint And Greavsie on ITV and reported on their home games as a lot were on a friday night.

Oxford with nothing to play for spells a home win, Tranmere to drag themselves out of the bottom two with a 2-0 win

Absolutely disgusting disgrace of a performance by a gang of imposters not fit to wear the shirt of our once proud club now reduced to a laughing stock by the most arrogant useless excuse of a manager in the club`s history. I would have Barnes back in a heartbeat than suffer another game under Adams. For pity`s stake Palios get rid of him NOW !!!.

Fully agree.
Strong rumours from several reliable sources that A) Adams has walked and B) His car was pelted with eggs on the way out.

Absolute travesty what's gone on at Tranmere this season. Shame that we'll be playing proper tinpot shite like Morecambe, Barnet and Mansfield next season instead of a cracking awayday at Prenton Park.

That is, of course, unless you perform the ultimate miracle...

It's not just this season. Ever since Ronnie was sacked 'for poor attendances' after being within 2 minutes of the League 1 play-offs in 2009, it's been downhill ever since. Make no mistake, our fans deserve better for putting up with this crap but the way we have been run in the last 6 years absolutely deserves Conference football.
The new owners, however, do not. Everyone in the new regime has done wonders off the pitch and they have put so many of the glaring mistakes right already, but the bigger ones take time. It's such a shame they may not get the time they deserve. Was it really that unrealistic to expect the highest placed side from the 2013/14 season to be able to avoid being one of the 2 worst sides in the 2014/15 season? That's all they set as a goal.

Gutted for the messiah, inherited a sinking ship but with players from our promotion and side that finished so well in league one I expected him to turn it around.

He did turn it around - we were 17th with 3 defeats in 20 in January. He then turned to a massive recruitment drive and messed it right up and since January we haven't kept a clean sheet (18 games) and we have rarely scored more than 1. He did a lot of good work and then spectacularly undid it.
Didn't help himself by being such an arrogant, stubborn and dislikeable man. Not sorry he's gone.

Micky is abrasive and generally destroyed the poor journalist interviewing him but I liked that myself. A no nonsense man.

He did nearly balls up promotion with us with a plethora of signings in January that year but to be fair to him signing Myrie Williams and Hugill who'd done well at a higher level for him should have succeeded but didn't for whatever reason.

Micky Adams; legend! Knew he'd leave, can't imagine him managing in the conference, his ego is too big.
