£72m for Pepe - a player who has only had one good season in France. France ffs which is probably the same standard as the Championship (with the exception of top 2/3 teams) - he scored 22 goals and goes for £72m.

If Harry Maguire is worth 80+, Pepe at that price is reasonable.

Liverpool are my second team but I have to say that if Chelsea pull off the deals for Thiago Silva, Chilwell and Havertz then on paper they will have a fantastic side. Though as to whether it's enough for a genuine challenge will depend on how quickly theme new players settle and gel together.

They obviously desperately need a new keeper but probably won't have enough money for one unless they can get a decent whack for Kepa. I'm not a big fan of Rudiger either but would take him ahead of Zouma and Christensen. I always thought Tomori seemed promising but he seems to have suddenly fallen off the radar under Frank.

Bellerin has been bang average for a few seasons now. Doesn't seem to be half as quick now as he once was, and pace was always his strongest attribute by far!

I've never seen him as great myself. But a few years back he looked a promising one. Seems to be more interested now in fashion and art over improving as a football player.
