Yeah. Salford must have seen something in him though, considering they can pretty much buy whoever they want from L1 downwards.

Non-league Tittle Tattle have suggested that Salford will recall Devante Rodney from Halifax to sell to us permanently.

Not sure how true it is, he seems happy and doing well at Halifax whereas he was largely played out of position for us on the right wing.

It's a bullshit Twitter account that trawls club forums for its rumours.

Stockport County.
You say that, but he's been pretty spot on with our rumours in the past.
That's because Yellowboard have said those rumours before that account has mentioned it. Yellowboard has had that Rodney rumour on there for a week or so and I heard the same that we were back after him. Given the timeframe, I think its accurate to suggest Rodney has decided to stay at Halifax for the time being.

I understand we would have had to wait for at least 28 days of his loan to elapse before Salford would be able to recall him and then us make an attempt to sign him. They signed him towards the beginning of January so the 28 days would have elapsed now if we were going to make a move for him.

I'd assume that he would have been informed of any approach on our part and then maybe decided to stick with Halifax?

Personally, I am happy with McAlinden in the 9. He was superb on Saturday against Bromley, so would probably play Rodney on the right wing where he wouldn't want to be. Perhaps better to look elsewhere if we are looking for a new right winger.

Pete Wild has confirmed to our local paper Rodney is going no where. No contact from Salford or Stockport and Rodney has told him he’s happy to stay regardless.

Per Pete Wild, it could only happen if Rodney wanted it. And Wild says he's heard nothing from Salford or Stockport.:ds:

The Non-League Paper were today reporting that our winger and double player of the year Dennon Lewis is likely on the move with 2 Championship and 4 League One clubs interested in him.

Initially I would have suspected Luton as being one of the 2 Championship clubs interested but recent clubs from CEO Gary Sweet makes it sound like they don't have a pot to piss in.

Lee Worgan back to Maidstone has been doing the rounds for quite some time now.

One of our owners said today that a fan favourite wants to return, so I think there's definitely something to this

Barrow fans. What's Olly Dyson like? Notice he's been released by Huddersfield today and our manager Pete Wild said in a Q and A yesterday he rated him when talking about some good national league opposition players.

Maybe one for you guys permanently if he impressed.

Tidy player from what I saw of him, although he mainly featured from the bench. He chipped in with a couple of goals. Good with the ball at his feet.

Good player who i wouldn't be unhappy if we signed - but equally wouldn't be unhappy if we didn't,
Mainly a sub for us - but that was due to how good the 1st 11 was not a reflection on him.Easily good enough for the NL.

Well if he does sign for us -- I hope he's better than the last one we got from you.

Didn’t really work out for Mensah at rovers did it? Can understand why he went but frustrating as I believe if he’d stayed here, we’d have been promoted that season - he was electric for us.
Chisletts a completely different type of player, much more of a natural footballer, really good on the ball. Technically he’s definitely L1 standard, physically I’m not so sure, he’s quite small and gets pushed off the ball quite easily.

Charlton have made a £50k bid for Wealdstone forward Dennon Lewis.

According to The Sun, who I don't normally trust but it seems too random for them to have made up.

That same article also said he missed the first 10 games of last season which is false. In normal circumstances I think he would have got a move back into the Football League but we've got an option on him for next year and clubs aren't in a position to be paying transfer fees.

Our teenage centre back Festus Arthur is seemingly on his way to Hull for a rumoured 40k.

Great physical specimen and lots of raw potential but ultimately won’t get in our team ahead of Palmer and Hogan and wants the move so makes sense to take the cash.

You also got to the playoff final with him as a regular in your side didn’t you?

He's a decent player to be fair. Very neat and tidy footballer. I don't think it helped who had he next to him last season. He was excellent the season before. Also didn't help montrose being finished as he was class before his injury. We were that bad last season though they can all go for me. Keep walker, Williams and one or 2 others. Rest aren't up to it

I’d quite like both of them as well ;)
