Do you think if you sign Burgess you'll allow Rose to come back to Darlo? Was brilliant during his loan. Armstrong said we're trying to sign him on loan or permanent.

We don't need to sign anyone, you can have him!

Maybe we'll sign both and we can announce Wimbledon's relegation.
Lol.I doubt you'll be getting either of them to be honest.Palmer is a decent player when he's fit. He's a bit injury prone.A target man really although he's not bad with the ball at his feet.I can't see us letting him go until the end of the season. He's done ok for us but I wouldn't really want him here next season.

You're supposed to put a space after a full stop, Gary.

Lewis Knight is heading out on loan from us to a Conference North side. Think he was top scorer in that league when we picked up from Bradford PA just before their season was stopped last year, but has had a nightmare with injuries since joining us. Could be a good pick up for someone like Alfreton, possibly.

To be fair to Rose, he was supposed to be a bit of a good signing. He came with great reviews from the Swindon fans and he started well for us but then it just all went to shit with him.

You're not allowed to tell Wrexham fans that their new owners won't be able to sign someone, they'll hit you some of their classic sass just like they have there Gary.
Mmmm!! He obviously didn't like my comments!!

It was meant to be a light hearted joke. I'm not quite sure how to honestly respond to your post other than 'I disagree, we could very well sign him'.

I thought Ollie Palmer was brilliant for us when we were down here last time and despite appearances definitely not a donkey.
That great first goal v Eastleigh that SOC posted he scored a pretty much carbon copy one against Barnet that season too.

Parky has confirmed the interest in him this evening
Ooft, it's on. Oliver and Palmer would be 2 very interesting signings if we manage both, as surely both don't start.

Well it would depend on whether Palmer want's to go and the fee.Wimbledon wouldn't want him to go this season.I'm certain of that. Our manager has come out and said so .Wrexham would certainly have to up the reported offer of £180,000 to stand any chance of getting him. He's under contract so the club could just tell him he's not going anywhere until the season has finished.

Is he out of contract in the summer? It could backfire if you go down anyway and he leaves for nothing. The price probably won't be as high as you imagine it.

The main reason as to why he won't be going anywhere is because he is our only experienced forward.Yes he's out of contract in the summer and as I've said before I wouldn't be concerned if he left then.As for the fee I don't think the club would be that desperate for £180,000.

Tbh I think that sort of situation is the case for a lot of our targets. Clubs seem a bit less willing to let people go in the current market. If a player might be the difference between staying up and relegation then financially its probably worth keeping hold of them even if they then go for nothing in the summer.

It's a gamble though, because if they end up going down anyway then they miss out on that fee. We'll just up the offer to make clubs really think about whether the gamble is worth taking.

You can have Palmer for 50 quid the way he's played in the last 4 game's!!!
