It hasn't gone as we would have hoped so far, we were told in November that the targets list was finalised and that negotiations were/would be ongoing with clubs through December ready to hit the ground running at the start of Jan, McElhenney even tweeted about how 'fun' January was going to be.

I think it is combination of the Covid wave making clubs more reluctant to move players, and the fact that the players we are targeting are at a level where the teams need to be seen to get an inflated price from us to justify losing their key players....It happened with Tozer and Hayden, and with comments about Mullin's wages even though he was free.

We will sign 2/3 players, and they will be (on paper) big looking signings but we will overpay and they may not work out.

The title is unlikely now, we have played half our games and have 39 points, even a second half of the season like Chesterfields first half would see us on around 85, which I don't think will be enough.

He's better than your current options. A fit Shaq goes straight into the starting XI of most teams at this level.

Apparently Warburton is on a 2 year deal aswell which is brilliant business from us. Such a smart footballer. Got better as the season has gone on. best thing since sliced bread I heard

There really is no need for us to sell our key players. The names that have been rumoured to be attracting interest

Kian Spence- out of contract in the summer yes but only 21 so as long as we offer him a deal we will get compensation wherever he goes.

Kieren Green- is already signed up for next season so if he wants to go in the summer I'm sure we won't stand in his way and we'll get a transfer fee from that.

Warburton- also signed for next year so a similar situation. I don't think we need to worry I.e Warby though. He's had a bit of a nightmare since he left stockport and I think he's really enjoying his football again.

Everything is in hand. We already have the next batch out on loan ready to be first teamers next year as well should we lose players in the summer

Are Wrexham still after Palmer.I know I said we should keep him but I've not been impressed with him recently.If a decent offer was made for him I'd be tempted to let him go.No idea if he wants to go.I know our manager wants to keep him .He can be a real handful at time's.
