Still another couple of hours until the much-loved Odemwingie moment when some overpaid lunatic is so pissed at having to remain with the poor bastards who pay his salary, that he hops in his Bentley and drives to W12, Cardiff or somewhere. But not Bristol.

Sneeze, Stears, sneeze!!
And Kermorgant linked with Wolves and Wednesday. And again with Jutkiewicz.

And looks like someone's going to get Ambulance Chaser Hammill as he's being released by Huddersfield.

Does that Alan Nixon bell end ever do any journalism? the fucker is never off Twitter.

Is he not a sign of the future of journos?

Live news via social media.... Get paid by someone, somewhere to tweet and bonus for hitting 'follower' targets.

If so, what a great world we live in.

Aye, great work if you can get it.

Hard to differentiate between the chancers and the legit ones though.

Do Reading have more loaned players than contracted ones?
Only got Fernandez, Piazon and Taylor so far. And Taylor is just backup. Other two probably won't make our first 11 either.

Admittedly looks like we're getting quite a lot of loans in. Most have options to buy though.

We're desperate for a striker though, we currently just have Sa and Cox. Cox hasn't scored since December...

Would love Reading to get Rantie scoring, assuming that is confirmed.

Huddersfield after Lee Camp from us which would suit us.

Easy lads, easy.

Anyway, Alistair Durden, our local BBC Journo has confirmed our interest in Bradshaw. Urrrrrrrrrghhhhhh.

Why does that annoy you? We should have been in for him from the end of last season. The only thing that worries me is that our interest is due to panicking now, instead of actually wanting the target.

Tbf, can see us going down the loan route too.

It seems to be a last resort. I think Bradshaw is a good player when fit, but he has a pretty poor injury record, and he lacks that yard of pace that is going to separate him from the rest in this division.

Wouldn't be over the moon with him to be honest.

If we'd have signed Matt Smith and Bradshaw earlier in the summer, I'd have been more than happy. Would have saved a lot of time wasted on players' that were out of our reach. Should have also been in for the likes of Murphy, Dack, etc.

Yeah just seen that. Guesses of Junior Hoilett and Franck Moussa already

I doubt it would be Moussa, he's been injured for the past 12 months and has been told he can choose his own squad number when he returns.

Bradshaw spent 6 weeks this summer with a hamstring specialist at Loughbrough working on his issues. It's something to do with one shin being different to the other, that puts a strain through one hamstring when he sprints. He did various different training regimes over the summer and has come back this season looking fitter than he did last year, half a stone lighter and a better player for it. He's on the coach to Morecambe as we speak, so any deal will have to be put through quickly.

Just to clarify. Bradshaw is a better player now than both Deeney and Grigg were at Walsall. A better natural finisher than Deeney whose game was based mainly around his work etchic and attitude and a more rounded player than Grigg, who had a good attitude but lacks any sort of pace at all. I'd expect him to get 10-12 Championship goals if played frequently and was given decent service. Has the attitude and ability to improve also, so at 23 in the current market, with 2 years left on his deal a couple of million for him, wouldn't be awful and would be a worthwhile punt.

If Moore and Baker is true to Bristol City, there is the makings of a very good CB partnership there

He's 23? Bizarre. When I saw about the bid I assumed he would be about 17/18, not 23 with only a season's worth of Championship experience.

Yep, watched him play for Bracknell Town once, he looked very raw then. A good player who will only get better, hopefully he rejoins us on loan.

That bad?

Gone quiet on that front since the initial rumour. Joe Ledley being banded about now, us and Cardiff interested.
Not really, just not sure he'd offer us much this season. Last season he was infinitely better when moved out of the CDM role (and deservedly won our POTS) but I don't think we'd get away with playing him the same role in the Prem. Reckon he could be a solid signing for anyone in this division.

But yeah, not sure there's anything in the rumour anyway.
