It seems highly like Kasey Palmer will be Lamp's first signing at Derby, which I am personally delighted with - as are the majority of Derby fans.

One of my biggest frustrations last season was the little game time Rowett afforded him, despite being MOTM in both games he started and almost always making a positive impact. He's technically a great footballer to watch, when he has the ball at his feet he can change direction quickly and is great at carrying the ball forward.

It will no doubt be a loan, also doubt it will be the last one from Chelsea.

What about Kasey Palmer?

Webster medical passed apparently for Bristol City.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
10m initially rising to 12m for Brooks, given the price of decent Champ players that's not horrendous I feel. Also I like the positions he plays, we need to move to a more fluid front 3.

Hoping them c*** spend money, off you pop lad, go talk to the Armchair bindippers about signings

Doubt they will spend anything ridiculous. Probably more of the same of the sort they signed up last season which did them well. Also what's that with Brooks and Wilder's daughter?

SSN saying 12m. Good deal for both parties I think. Hope Sheff Utd spend some of that money wisely and go for the playoffs.
I think that's a good signing if he can recover from his busted leg. A very good young player in my humble opinion.

Can't believe the Webster deal, insane.

3.5-5m up front rising to as much as £8,000,000.

Crazy. Very happy with that. Don't get me wrong, good player with lots more to give but you're gunna have to find a way to keep him off the treatment table,

Expect most of it is promotion addons like the Kodjia deal. Tactical masterclass from the club - you'll never see a penny of it.

Nearly every deal is done in installments and addons nowadays, especially since FFP was introduced. I think Villa are still paying for some of their players they signed 2/3 years ago.

Don't think Wilder will get much of it to spend, but to hear some of our lot laughing at it when they're getting £10m + add ons for Brooks whilst we have lost young Hirst (and probably Clare) for next to nothing, does make me question the mentality of some of our lot.

More positively we haven't lost any of our "big name" players yet, if we can keep them (and keep them fit) with a couple of bargain additions we should do better this season, getting rid of some of deadwood would help, think FFP is taking its toll on a few clubs this year, don't see any clear favourites for promotion yet.

Alex Smithies has left QPR for Cardiff. Apparently, it is 3 million with 500k if they stay up. What a shit fucking deal that is for us.

Good luck to him, probably my favourite keeper since ive been watching QPR.

Reid and Smithies signed then. We're going to have one hell of a squad for the 2019/20 season down here!
Trouble is, Warnock will have been sacked, and the new manager will probably want different players!

Rumours Stoke have bid £6m for Sergi Canos to replace Shaqiri. Think they'd have to beat the £10m mark for us to consider selling.

Also rumours that West Brom & Wolves are looking at Florian Jozefzoon, for around £2-3m. Wouldn't surprise me if we sold him, one year left on his contract, the fee there is a little low but you can never get too much in the last year of a deal.

I thought he really upped his consistency last year, and was very good, so I hope we keep him.

I see Ipswich have signed Jordon Roberts. A suprise he has moved to Championship level but he is a good player. He refused the offer of a new contract with Crawley as he wanted to play at a higher level so fair play to him.

Left footed, athletic and strikes the ball well. He played a lot of last season as the furthest forward in a team without strikers but it didn't really suit him.

It will be interesting to see how well he does.

Got to be sold for that IMO. Hope it's true.

How do most of your fans rate your signings? Must admit they look very underwhelming for the PL.
Cautious optimism I think, majority know we're likely to go down but are happier going about our business this way compared to last time. No foreigners on big wages with no desire has been replaced with cheapish young hungry players with a point to prove. There's also the fact we don't have the cash to go for these big players this time round either but that damn near crippled the club last time round. Signing players like Cornelius and Medel on 50k+ plus a week isn't something we're going to do this time.
Trouble is, Warnock will have been sacked, and the new manager will probably want different players!
Wouldn't surprise me if this the last club Warnock is in charge of. The rumour thats been going round since 2017 has been he'll move upstairs and Bellamy will take over eventually.

Now we’ve got the money from Bristol, reckon we’ll now go in for a couple of Shrewsbury players (Nolan hopefully) and we’ve now been linked with Barrie McKay. Hurst wants wingers too. His first press appearance he said our squad is not balanced and that we need wingers.

Cardiff will probably take the Burnley approach, they may get relegated but will be far better equipped back at this level, and if they get back up will be stronger.
