Prem clubs would rather see their young players play at the highest level possible. Leaving him at a side who flit between Leagues 1 & 2 probably isn't sensible for his development.

We paid £500k for Woodman who is our number 1 and statistically the best keeper in the league so far.

Alvaro Fernandez is our first choice LWB and Troy Parrott was playing regularly before his injury.

Just like Van Den Berg (Liverpool), Archer (Villa), and Iversen (Leicester) were all first teamers last season and are now all playing top flight football. Almost as if we're pretty good at developing loan players.
