I see that you as a group are fundraising for the Brain Tumour Charity. There have been a number of high profile cases of Glioblastoma, a particularly aggressive brain tumour. Actress Haydn Gwynne, poet Benjamin Zephania, TV presenter Annabelle Giles and former General Secretary of the Labour Party, Baroness Margaret McDonagh have all recently died relatively young of this disease. Margaret McDonagh's sister Siobhain - my MP - is campaigning for more funding and research as there's very little of either.

That's all off the back of a Town fan called Les, who has been through brain tumour surgery and now does a lot of fundraising for said charity. Used to post on the old TFF under the username les.gtfc, I'm sure plenty on here will remember him.

We have been up there a few times and always found the Grimsby fans we have met to be pleasant and welcoming even when we beat them in the playoff semi 10 years ago (sorry could'nt resist) also their fish and chips are bang on.
