If goals were judged on artistic merit Gills would be 10-1 up. Does Jamille Matt ever score goals that don’t just hit him?

Typical of Carlisle do ok cannot score then in comes the total lack of being able to get a clean sheet and what should be at least a draw ends in defeat

Ladies and gentlemen…

Presenting the worst most ineffective useless football team I’ve ever seen.

We are far too easy to defeat. Newport have had a night off and still beat us.

Carlisle United. A pathetic overpaid non league team.

We done almost everything right tonight, dominated possession chances both on and off target dominated large spells of the game…….just cannot score and cannot keep a clean sheet

Kyle Cameron scoring the winner against MK Dons is the funniest moment of the season and won’t be topped I am afraid

Watching the walsall game was a mistake. Zzzzzz.

Pitch looks horrible so that probably didn't help.

Another loss, down to 15th. What a truly abysmal season this has been.

I don’t see Scott Lindsey ending the season with us at this point :surr:

Flicked to the Walsall-Gillingham game with 20 to go. Not sure you can read that much into their dip yet as all teams go through it but no doubting it's hard to get out of that rut once you're in it. Gillingham looked like they were pretty handy on the break.

Other scores tonight just mean if we do have designs on auto's we need to be beating Notts. Certainly a point works far better for them than us.

Mat Sadler is clearing trying to throw the season. It's the only explanation. Baffling starting line up and the changes he made actually made us worse.

0-0 at Rovers. We probably had the better of the second half while never really looking like scoring. Possible penalty not given would have to see it again.

Cracking win, hardly had the ball but were just as effective as MK Dons. Pleased for Cameron who's endured a stinking start here and received a lot of stick but he pops up with the winner which should do him a world of good.

Massive win again, 14 (15 with GD) clear, couple more wins in the next few weeks and I can enjoy the rest of the season with my feet up.

Final stat line from tonight:

AFC Wimbledon: 14 fouls, 0 yellows, 0 reds
Crewe Alex: 7 fouls, 4 yellows, 1 red

Well in the game until the ref ruined it. It's a penalty and I'm massively pissed off with Knight-Lebel for such a stupid mistake, his age and lack of experience be damned. That moment of madness cost us the chance of a result as we'd possibly slightly edged it for the first 39 minutes.

But the red and the penalty killed it. Couple of more goals, game over, thanks for coming. If we don't get Knight-Lebel's red overturned and if Williams has indeed picked up his 10th yellow card tonight, we'll be down to a CB availability of Connor O'Riordan and Lewis Billington. Good lord.

Not surprised at all about the Wimbledon and Bradford scorelines, both expected.

Very surprised at the Walsall result, in the current climate that is a gimme game, you couldn't hand pick a more favourable opponent to turn up in town so to fail to win continues the unexpected stutter slide.

Yeah but we had 73% possession and 2 shots on target so who really won?

The score doesn't tell you just how poor Bradford were. Just like the 1-0s against Morecambe and Harrogate

Don't think I've ever enjoyed watching us vs Accrington. Niggly and horrible throughout. They hit the bar and we didn't have much apart from the goal. The ref was so bad I had to check my phone to see if Vale were playing.

It was awful, but it was also a game in previous seasons we wouldn’t have got anything from whereas this year we’re winning ugly when we need to and it’s showing in our league position.

That was an enjoyable evening. Worth using up another day of annual leave.

Record against Crewe is looking a bit better P12 W2 D7 L3.

I didn't get a clear view but a few folk I spoke to felt that although it was a clear penalty, it wasn't worthy of a red card.

Not disappointed with the draw against Tranmere. Rovers fighting for their life and the point gained even more important with Carlisle and Morecambe losing. A clean sheet for the Cods, nothing really upfront, and certainly missing Coughlin. On the bright side cricket season will be starting in a couple of months.........
