Wait and see if Darren Moore has finally learnt the Masonic handshake before celebrating too early on the ref if I was you.

IF we win tonight am expecting it to be close and us to make hard work of it regardless as it’s all we do. This is the game for George Byers to get a hold of, he’s clearly not on a pittance so time to repay the investment.

At kick off vs Morecambe I would have imagined all 4 would play vs Vale with McGoldrick rested with that game in mind. Clearly not. He's one of the top scorers and pure class.

We lose JJ due to get another talentless brute so knew he would likely be out. So there is an assist or two gone.

Whittaker absence comes out of nowhere, he's been very impressive last two games.

And as for Tsaroulla , who I rate, I wrongly assumed he's been out long enough he will be back.

I don't rate Gordon noticeable drop off in quality, Jarvis way too early to say having played so little but he suddenly becomes a mistake for creativity.

Just like their near neighbours earlier this season.... lucky lucky Vale.

We now need a generous ref.

Headley if out as was seen limping out of training last night is a big blow as he’s been a revelation in the balance of the team.

If Stockley isn’t fit enough to start then it’s likely a kid in Hackford or Umolu who was awful last weekend when he came on or a winger in Curtis playing up with the Super Swiss.

Headley out is a blow, Shorrock did play well at Meadow Lane but hasn’t been great of late. Debrah in for the Jatta man marking job, Stockley in is a boost.

Biggest boost though is the first choice midfield three finally getting an appearance together for the first time this season with Garrity, Byers and Croasdale!

He’s the only option really. He’s the only defender with pace and strength to counter Jatta. Smudge pinching him and getting a reaction to get him sent off would be the second best option but Heneghan whilst taller would struggle with his pace.
