We're expecting attacking reinforcements this week, more than likely U23 loan's so I'm not particularly hopeful of signing anyone impressive, I thought Exeter were brilliant against us in the reverse fixture, proper footballing team, I think they'll give us a lesson on Saturday and pile more pressure on Lee.

Got to be 6/6 with Scunthorpe away and Walsall at home if we’re going to make a push for play offs this season.

Got a feeling we may lose and not score, as we do every game.

Loft is scoring for sure on Tuesday

After yesterday's horrible defensive showing, I've just realised Matt Smith for Salford is 6ft 6. Doesn't take a genius to put together a game plan for Salford on Tuesday.

I think I read on Twitter that Walsall only have one fit centre half for this game? So in theory, we should be on the front foot and testing their makeshift defence.

In reality, boring Derek will have us with everyone behind the ball and lumping it forward to nobody at every opportunity.

0-0

Thanks. Depends who we can put out next week. Zanzala would appear to be out and I doubt Nombe would be back, which leaves Amond and Brown up front. Its no coincidence that with those two yesterday our two goals came from headed corners, though we do have the likes of Dieng and Jay who can get forward.
We are playing better than we have been for a while, but as always its about maintaining that and converting your chances when on top, and who knows if that will happen next week.

One game you missed is the all League 2 Pizza Cup quarter final between Sutton and Harrogate on Tuesday.

Matt Gray has said all season that we hoped to do well in this competition and Tuesday is a great opportunity to get to a semifinal. I can imagine we’ll play our strongest possible XI, however that will depend if we appeal Craig Eastmonds red card from yesterday.

That goes in the EFL Trophy or the Tinpot thread.

I'd take a 0-0 with Tranmere. Two strong teams, both with solid defences. Expect them to be skilled, precise, and difficult to break down. We might take more risks, which could either be our glory or our downfall.

Game one of five in hand. Likely be the same side as Saturday but with Otis Khan starting as wing back on the right side.

Meh, unless we can find some extra strikers to use when Drinan and Smith aren't firing by next Monday this season will be a write off.

We have to play the whole second half of our season in three months more or less.

Missed with good reason considering the competition!

My god I couldn't care less.

Completely free tomorrow evening but don't think I can be bothered, we're as boring as we are frustrating.

Orient at home saturday, trying to make a league record of 8 wins in a row, we pushed our luck down at orient with a 0-0, i seem to recall some of their fans saying they were confident we’d make a good go of getting out of the league that day, how right they were!

We just seem to be finding ways of grinding out wins, the belief in the squad is unreal. Won’t be easy

The match at Prenton Park on Saturday is team with best home record [Tranmere] verses team with best away record [FGR].
Tranmere is team with one of the least goals scored but with the tightest defence. FGR have scored most goals. They have yet to lose an away game.
No matter what result be both clubs will remain at top of table.

The history between the two clubs is a short one but one that fans from both clubs now look forward to watching. That is possibly because both clubs have beaten the other team in a promotion play-off, won home and away games and the H2H is extremely close. And normally the games by the two Rover teams against each other is a top of table match.
Of course this season there is the added spice that both clubs are in position of auto-promotion having built a points gap from rest of pack. But far too early is season to declare this match a 6-pointer.

Think Exeter will pump us, only certainty is the pack of divs we put out won’t look like scoring.

If we can keep up our PPG and the goals for and against averages we will get 84 or 85 points and score 50 with 28 against. It is bizarre.

Another borefest & defeat awaits Pooĺs at Exeter & i won't bother listening to it.
Rumour has it that manager Lee was overheard asking Sweeney, our general dogs body, what to do after Stevenage went one up on Saturday.

Nailed on draw at Walsall tonight. We are the easiest team to predict results.

I've been to the real SJP seven or eight times to watch Pools, though not for a fair while, and I won't make it to Devon this weekend either as I'll be up on Scotland topping up my tan.

A win wouldn't startle me. Football can be random like that, but all signs point to an easy home win.

Ah bollocks, is that still going on? I think we might be playing too. End this nonsense.
