We were second with a draw anyway.

Hated listening to Morais and the other fella at Radio L***ds tonight.

Oh yeah, I know. A win makes it more convincing though.

They been bad? I've had the Sky+ on. Listening to this commentator you'd think it's Bromley going for the top 3 the way he's been banging on about their 'promotion credentials'. Weird, considering they're 7 points outside the play offs.

Easiest job in football would be Bradfords keeper this evening. Apart from one penalty claim for handball they should have been awarded Bromley have offered nothing.

Disappointing considering the scoreline at the 88th minute, but I would have taken a point before the game. One point closer and we keep moving. Fair play to Cheltenham for going till the end.

Nice one Cheltenham.

When we played Walsall on January 25th, had we lost we would have been 17 points behind them.

Exactly a month later we sit seven points behind them in second spot. Whilst it's still a very healthy lead, can we do it and haul them in?! I doubt it, but it doesn't half make a change being in this position.

Just know Tranmere are finally going to bite the bullet and fire Adkins ahead of the weekend now. That really was a must not lose for them.

Would’ve been gutted had we not won, controlled most of the game but lacked a finishing touch. Odd team Bromley, play for 0-0 and hope that Cheek guy nicks one?
The lack of away points is the worry that may cost autos but victories like tonight are the fine line games that get you over the line come May.

Bradford comfortably the better team but without Imray, Bromley looked dreadful...offered next to nothing. Typically they were much better when we played them pre Christmas although obviously it was a 1-0 victory to us (or at least it should have been).

Bradford's midfield is their difference maker. Some good technicians in there.

Win our 2 games in hand, and then beat Walsall at their place and we are just 3 points behind them. Simple! On a serious note, it's really tough going at the moment. We have to keep winning just to keep up with everyone else who is winning.

Great three points and five clean sheets (wtf) in a row. Didn't think we'd score tonight but very happy to be proven wrong. Keep playing like this, get a bit of luck with injuries, and we'll get top 3. I may even get a bit excited.

Should fire everybody and just give the fuck up.

I do feel you lot. Obviously needs must for us at the weekend but it is sad to see. One of my earlier football memories was coming up against the great Tranmere team John King had put together in the early/mid 90’s.

When a team can offer nothing, there's a possibility that their opponents have something to do with it.

Not the best performance tonight against a poor Bromley side. However, delighted with a rare away victory.

Our passing was too wayward tonight and our key players in Pointon and Sarcevic looked jaded tonight, however, good finish from Pointon when it mattered.

Difference since we got over our lengthy injury list is the strength on the bench we have been able to call on since Christmas, allowing us also to rotate the team each week.

Christ that's a shocker of a result for Tranmere, the game you would pencil in as a chance to pull away and they go and lose it.

Great result for Bradford that. That's the sort of win that gets you up. Not exactly clicking on the night but capable of grinding it out.

Also pleasing to see Cheltenham going for it in injury time, hopefully they'll be a bit leggy for our visit this weekend.

Stinker of a result for Tranmere.
Tranmere did their best to gift Accrington a goal, and although Accrington didn't want one, they were forced to accept one in the end. Once ahead, Accrington put 11 men behind the gaol and defended well. Devon Matthews they signed from Curzon Ashton looked handy. Tranmere had a few chances, but their finishing was poor.

Tranmere's performance should give Morecombe some hope they can escape the drop.

When you have 13 from 15, 42 to play for looks promising.

I'm perplexed as to what's happened to them. 4 years ago, they beat us easily at their place, with James Vaughan scoring 2. They seemed like a team likely to go up to league 1. Three years ago during our last promotion season, I think they were 2nd in the league when we played them. They ended up outside of the playoffs and seem to be on the decline ever since.

Saturday has become a bit of a 'must win' for them, which isn't ideal for us.

Aden Baldwin being part of a defence that keeps 5 clean sheets in a row would not have been on my pre season bingo card.

Fair play to him though, think he was brought down by some of the dross around him last season.

Big win, especially with our poor away form and it’s taken the pressure off Saturday somewhat. Dominating display away from home, just lacked a killer edge in the final third but that’s irrelevant now.

3 points down the drain through switching off and thinking it was game over they didn't really threaten all night up until then saying that I'd have took a draw before the game but that was frustrating.
They reminded me off us when Flynn was here identical style of play.

He's been excellent for a while now. Not just defensively, but he's got a great long range pass on him. Seems like the switch has worked out well so far.

A welcome 3 points on the road especially after coming from behind against Gills. This was always going to be a tough game, even more so after an away fixture with Grimsby last weekend, a day off on Sunday and travelling down to Kent on Monday, so we'll done Cods
Ryan Graydon continuing improve and scoring again and Helm netting the equaliser. We are doing ok lacking 2 key players up front. Now looking forward to 2 home games against leading teams

Baldwin has been excellent for us. Calm, very good on the ball, and most of all, just great defending overall.

We absolutely deserved that draw last night. It was a very even game and we were only behind due to not switching on at the start and a monumental error from Stubbs to let Adomah in - it was Stubbs' first big error for us so he gets a pass of course. He was immense at the back until that point.

You can see why Walsall are top though - they play with such confidence and are so difficult to break down. We didn't look like scoring because they were brilliant defensively and they swarmed as they went forward.

Spoke to a few Walsall fans last night, and all were decent blokes - really wish them the best for the rest of the season.

I really don't think we will do it, but we do have an outside chance of making the playoffs. Saturday's game against Grimsby could determine how that goes.

Excellent night's work for the Bantams.
Another point but that inexcusable from Walsall to concede two in stoppage time after such a comfortable evening up to that point.
Oh and just a reminder we were comfortably outplayed by Tranmere at home last weekend. That was indeed must not lose for our friends form Birkenhead.

To be completely, unnecessarily pedantic, the first goal was in the 90th minute (it was still 89:?? on the scoreboard).
