Well can't say Wimbledon haven't deserved that cos they've had a lot of the ball but utterly pathetic from Conway then slicing that ball in the air only for it to come right back at us. Neufville not closed down and then Marschall looked like he dived over the shot.

Can't see us scoring again in the second half. Been yet another tepid performance from us and only scored due to terrible set piece defending.
I disagree, I think we've looked good so far. If our strikers were turning up tonight we'd be laughing. The midfield looks solid tonight and aside from the sliced hoof, so had the defense. Completely comfortable in the game and going along nicely, then we suicide and gift them a goal. How very Crewe.

I think imo we have shaded it and deserved the goal.

Thank god for Dobs because our attacking patterns still don't look right to me. All very sideways sideways and no cutting edge or invention. Their red card was late high and studs up, can't be any complaints. Woodman getting sent off as well was funny, I'm not sure what happened it looked like he was trying to get to someone in our dugout.

Level on goal attempts and we're dominating possession stats. Possession means little but it hardly adds up to Crewe being completely comfortable. Get the feeling we'll step this up in the second half too.

(I reserve the right to delete that last sentence when we fold pitifully).

As a neutral I'd say level is about a fair summing up of the game. Neither team looked particularly troubled at the back and the goals coming about through a set piece for Crewe and a nice strike for yourselves with not much else happening would attest to that.

We have been abysmal but are winning 1-0 against Harrogate thanks to one good moment from Joe White (Dan Crowley with his first assist).

Our new CB Nathan Thompson went off injured after 25 minutes. He was our best player on Saturday and looked the answer to our defensive woes so typical he’s injured already.

Still, if we can hold onto the 3 points, it’s a decent outing even though it’s another shite game. Doncaster will destroy us playing like this on Saturday though…

Crewe been playing with fire the second half. Inviting Wimbledon on far too much and not offering a great deal in response.

Nut sure what Artell always says at half time but we are absolute toilet again since half time and it happens most weeks. Gills should be 3 up and it's only a matter of time until they put this to bed.
Dreadful stuff from us.

Artell has a worrying knack of losing games when you're heavily fancied to win against an out of form or injury depleted side. Not surprised it's happeneing here again.

Absolutely pish from us this half. If anyone wants to know my thoughts on this just go back to the Gillingham fans' posts on 1st October as they're pretty much the same.

Anyone that's watched us over the last three or four weeks wouldn't have said we were heavy favourites, we've been very poor for a while now.

So 1 all is what I expected pre match. On overall showing I'm a little disappointed we didn't win. Anyway onto Bradford at home on sat.

Well, we got there in the end but that was a bleeding tough watch in the second half.

Need to be much better away at Wimbledon on Saturday if we're to take anything there.

Yep annoying as we didn't take advantage and really we should have won.

Think this ref has added on a few minutes that the ref on Saturday forgot about, no idea how they've counted 8 to add on.

Lovely little finish by Paddy Madden there, that's what I've been wanting to see. Few nice touches and positions from chubby Fleck as well since he's come on. To be fair this game will have done us no harm at all, as you can see the confidence just creeping back in that's been missing recently.

For most of that half if anyone was going to win it then it would have been Wimbledon and the stats back up the eye test. That said when Johnson clumsily gave away that freekick at the end did feel the stage was set for a Crewe winner off the last kick. Crewe very much like us seem rather too keen to resort to stopping the opposition than imposing themselves on them.

Not the best results for us tonight though Newport getting a point at Salford is a pleasant surprise.

I take it back. That was shit and Wimbledon will be staggered that they only got a point out of us.

Worrying signs of a repeat of last season happening right now.

Not so much staggered as a little disappointed. However before the match we made 4 changes and I'd above taken the point I'm now disappointed with.

No idea how we got a point from that and should have even won it at the end. We played for 35 minutes, then they scored a freak goal. We didn't get a look in then and were very poor.

Finally decided to give it a go from the 90th minute and should have scored 3 but only got 1.

Gills should be annoyed with that,

I honestly think our season will be over in 2 or 3 games time now - too inconsistent for top 7 but already enough points nearly to be safe . Plenty of time for Artell to implement his version of art form - zero excuses next season for not having a good go at it .

Nice set of results for us tonight. It'd be a good few days if we can get a point tomorrow.

How are we 2nd?!

That was awful, flat for 90 minutes, missing Palmer massively. Didzy’s worst performance in a Notts shirt, Jatta not far off himself despite scoring. We lack any real pace on the counter, teams can just push up and press us as much as they want,

Tsaroulla a million times better than Austin. Edwards and Johnson both good when they came on.

An odd feeling really but we won and are 2nd so I’ll stop moaning
