Put your life savings on a FGR win, you will be able to retire on it.

Oh and thankfully we aren't playing Harrogate on Saturday as they have selfishly got through to the 3rd round.

Looks like a tiring afternoon for Carlisle

(We're not playing them, we're still in the FA Cup)

Tranmere are definitely winning at a canter, probably 2 or 3-0.

This will then be followed by Tranmere fans swarming our twitter telling us how shit Keith Hill is, not taking into account the fact he manages a horrendous team that is never expected to get anything at Tranmere away.

Can't wait.

I wouldn’t be so sure of us winning at a canter. After all we never even managed a shot on target at your place and that was before Keith Hill had made Scunny a more difficult team to beat.

How the games goes depends on a number of factors, crucially which Rovers players are still unavailable through covid/injury, whether Hawkes has been recalled by Sunderland and what others comings and goings have taken place at both clubs.

I don't think it will be a comfortable win at all, might not even get a win. If it does happen then there might be some comment on your social media. This isn't a reflection on Scunny, rather Hill who for reasons only known to himself used to enjoy sniping at Rovers fans while managing the club.

I’m really confused as to why we agreed to play the rearranged FGR game this week, with the squad still being on the threadbare side. Seems like suicide to me.

As Denzel says, you’d put all your money on a FGR win, but I’d love us to turn up and play the game of our season and bag 3 points, or even get a point.

We’re defensively depleted the most with our three main CBs missing, plus Sam Stubbs is unlikely to start again after playing his first 90 mins in over a year on NYD. So it will be a big ask for youngsters Diabate, Dyer and the veteran Jonathan Grounds to keep FGR quiet.

We’ll see what happens and a win would properly kick start our season, but I’m still expecting no points, sadly.

We were a bit rusty Saturday, but once we got going we looked very dangerous going forward and ended up having 26 shots v Stevenage. Ebou Adams will be away at the AFCON but Matty Stevens might be back from covid providing he tests negative tomorrow.

Can see us going all out attack given Exeter are stretched, try and hit them early. In our last 3 games before covid we were 3 up at half time each time. Be good to do something similar tomorrow, take the sting out of it and give the likes of Matt and Wilson a rest. Small squad and hectic schedule coming up this month.

I do expect us to win on Saturday whether it will be at a canter or not is debatable but one thing is for certain is that Mr Hill is in for a rough ride from the Prenton Park crowd many of whom dislike him intensely.

It's amazing how these lot are top of the league though. Goes to show how crap the quality is in this league if we're all over top of the table, who are 8 points clear and we have a depleted squad. Blimey.

We look a bit off the pace, maybe taking these a bit lightly given their injuries. That being said we are capable of throwing in the odd poor performance at home. Reminds me of the Swindon & Vale games.

Need to improve second half.

I thought FGR were supposed to have money? Maybe they should invest in proper flood flights rather than players. I've seen better lighting down the local park

Maybe. The league table suggests not though tbf. You look decent but we’re miles off our best so far.

Stats are pretty damn one sided. Not sure why it's not saying we haven't had a shot on goal when we've had a fair few!!

Excellent performance. Gutted not to have win that. Hope we have now turned a corner. Imagine if Nombe was playing!

We played brilliantly, did everything right apart from put the ball in the net. Hopefully Nombe will sort that out whenever he is back.

I can say with near certainty that FGR ain't winning the league. What a fraudlent top place side. They look shocking. Stealing it at the minute. Based on the 2 games I've seen when we've played them, and the Swindon one on TV, they look like a 7th/8th place side. They're lucky they've got points on the board already because they'll need them. Nobody should be worried about them, to be honest.
