Was McKeown dropped midweek or injured and only made the bench? It looks from afar like you've conceded a fair few goals by trying to pass it out from the back.

You've got a decent run of fixtures coming up over the next 6 weeks or so, which admittedly are only a decent run if you pick up some results, in Mansfield, Scunny (twice), Southend (twice), Stevenage, Bradford, Morecambe, Oldham and Barrow.
Reading between the lines, he was dropped because he can't play out from the back. Will be interesting to see if keeps Russell in for the Mansfield match. Holloway remains hellbent on trying to get this squad of players to play in a manner they don't seem capable of across the board.

Matt Tees passed away about a month ago.

Bennett has been crap to be honest, not really sure what he does. Passes it sideways a lot? Is he supposed to be a winger/forward? He lacks any kind of threat. He's been played in midfield a bit but he's just the same as most of our other midfielders in that he puts a shift in but offers very little quality.
Sorry to hear about Matt tees -- Great footballer. Sorry to hear about Bennett -- Waster.

Dropped I believe, he's been at fault for a couple of goals recently; and yes, we are trying to pass it out from the back, sadly the players are not good enough to play that way and get caught in possession or rush a pass that is intercepted, we've lost a lot of goals/games because of this style of play. Ollie wants it though, so the players try to play that way, he drops them otherwise.

Just seen SoC's reply, I agree with it.

Waterfall certainly isn't a ball playing CB! He tried that at Shrewsbury, albeit in L1, and didn't last long.

We had a similar situation when Appleton came in last season and trying to play a way we didn't have the players for and it was quite frustrating at times watching the same things happen time and time again. We had just about enough to have got over the line because when it clicked it was really good to watch so at least you would see what he was trying to implement, which thankfully has gone into this season.
