Hills gets a second yellow for their lad jumping over him when he stands his ground. Don't even know what to say about these officials.

The one incident which has gone against Wrexham is the foul/penalty they should have got but otherwise been pretty harsh on Stockport.

We were second best and didn't deserve to win it, but a really dodgy decision at the end to disallow a goal. Ball hit straight at MacDonald who couldn't get out of the way, but handball given.
Oh well, we are drawing our way to safety.

Really is like having your teeth pulled out watching Wrexham, it was like that for both games against us, switched it over after 30 minutes and watched Peterborough. much more enjoyable. They play shocking football. Anyway 1-0 to the fouling bastards

Some game of football. Stockport were at it from the off, that first innocuous foul and you've got half their team running 70 yards to surround the ref and that set it all off from there really, both teams were shithousing the rest of the game. That Bate was by the refs side for 95 mins straight, ref will be having nightmares over him tonight.

The blatant penalty not given moments before the one he gave played a big part IMO. Linesman knew he'd fucked up so ended up giving the second one which was a bit of a joke.

Overall a delicious afternoon of Parkyball and a 10th 1-0 of the season. Teams just can't break us down when we sit in.

You should try watching us, fucking hell.

A really good away performance from us for about 60 minutes, after that the equaliser was inevitable. Can't wait to see the back of a lot of this squad.

Not Brophy though, sumptuous finish after a 3 and a half year wait!

I'll preface this by saying fair play to your lads, fully deserve where you are in the table, if you can grind out those 1-0s so regularly then you deserve the points.

But Christ on a bike it's horrible to watch. If the ref is going to get a headache from having players in his ear for 90 minutes, it won't be from anyone in a blue shirt. The cameras were showing the constant snide fouls and then haraguing the officials, we lost our most effective player the first twenty minutes because your lads wanted to kick seven shades of shit out of him, fair play if that's your game plan every week and weak refs won't combat it with anything more than an eventual yellow.

McLean bullying your liner into submission was pathetic to see. These things were literally all game long, and I know it must be horrible to know you've paid to watch & that's what necessitated you zoning out. But this daydream of yours about Bate being worthy of criticism is beyond taking the piss.

Looking forward to back to back home games against Wrexham and Stockport, I'm sure the gulf in quality will clearly be seen..

First half we were OK and deserved to be more than a goal to the good (Doyle missed an open goal!).

The second half was probably the worst football I've seen two teams play for ....well, for ever. Both sides deserve to be relegated to park football for that second half! The only redeeming feature was we held on to win.

No idea where to start describing it. I'm going to drink myself silly to try to forget that ever happened.

!00% agreed.

I almost said, I'd rather not go up, than go up, playing like we're doing atm...

But then I thought, hang on, is Parky actually evolving here?? We've done all the 7-5's, 6-4's etc, and it got us here to where we are now.

But has he been watching the likes of Burnley and realised - a 1-0 is still 3 points?

I'm still surprised with how defensive Exeter were today.

There was only 1 team going for the win, however for all our effort and attacking endeavour, we didn't test their keeper enough. Exeter were much more organised than Bristol Rovers last week, but definitely set up for the point that they achieved. Think they had their first shot (wide) on 60 minutes. Exeter keeper booked for timewasting in the 30th minute said it all.

It's been a weird season, thumped some teams, been disappointing in others. Felt we attacked well and it was a good game. Need to get that first goal early, struggle with teams who go so defensive. Howwver we've now reached 50 points which i'l take.

Hmmm, the booking of Whitworth was a joke. Ref told him to take the kick on the other side then booked him for doing so.
The tactic was to contain for most of the match and go for it in the last few minutes, would have worked but for a strange refereeing decision. Also a very dubious elbow by Collins on Turns that could have been given red.
Lincoln were hardly Brazil either.

Really disappointing result for us. We started the game quite well and up until the goal were probably just the better side. The goal came from a ridiculous back pass that the keeper decided to pick up. Managed to clear the indirect freekick that was about 6 yards out but Peterborough scored seconds after. Because we play such a high press, we are vulnerable to teams on the counter that can play the ball through it well. Peterborough kept 3 players up front most of the time and if they could get the ball to them it was 3 on 3, which resulted in them having a fair few really good chances. Our problem is our final ball still. We get into some really good positions but the final decision lets us down. We had 25 shots yesterday without really properly looking like scoring.

That's our top 2 ambitions off the cards and now we nervily look over our shoulder at the teams outside the top 6 who have a game in hand on us. Next Saturday's game against Huddersfield is massive now. We need to bounce back immediately as any poor run of form could see us drop out the playoff places

The Wrexham penalty being given totally undermines any respect for officials initiative. Whether it is right or wrong, it's only given because McLean argues with the linesman and convinces him to cha he his mind.

We had something similar at Bristol Rovers with a late equaliser disallowed for offside. Goal was given but the keeper ran around telling everyone his view was blocked. The ref them went to speak to the linesman who you could tell wasn't convinced by the puffed out cheeks but then belatedly gave offside. Replays showed Marquis wasn't in the way and we get an apology a few days later.

The officials don't help themselves sometimes

So he watched us twice and decided we were awful to watch and then still came back for more as a neutral, tuning in of his own accord on a Saturday afternoon. Shows the sort of pull we have.

You don't have any pull , i was watching to find out how the play off contenders were going on as we had a break because we have current internationals. TBH, i don't even get the Hollywood thing, heard of Ryan Reynolds but can't think of any decent films he has been in and as for the other fella, never heard of him. Enjoy this tiny bit of limelight because it won't last, you are in too much of a backwater for it to last. Your shit crowds and the tiny compact ground they are in are actually helping you at the moment with the atmosphere created influencing officials so any expansion will dilute that.

The ref should've given us a penalty just before it. Officials were shite for both teams and did their absolute best to ruin the game.

Isn’t that all any fan can do though, enjoy the good times while they last? It’s not like we can influence the choice of ownership.

Also it’s not like they didn’t pay their dues slumming it before the good times kicked in.

I feel like Wrexham has a decent catchment area, and if they capture the imagination of the younger generation of locals then they have a good chance of sustaining a fair-sized fanbase over time - so it’s not *just* a case of depending on tourists.

Nice slur.

Remember when Bolton fans came to our place, singing about us never playing in Europe? Intelligent set of fans.

Most officials in this league are terrible. I'm not saying it just because it was Wrexham, just that it doesn't look good the way it was given and how long it took.
