Another defending disaster class.

I detest this squad of players with every fibre of my being.

But you have the best squad, how can they be so tired.
Haha. We’ve had loads of injuries (we’ve had 6-8 players missing every game for the past month) and somehow we’ve played 2-4 more games than everyone in the league… on top of those extra Pizza Champions League games. I do think that run has cost us this week in the league. But it is what it is. We will see how we perform against yourselves and Ipswich in the coming weeks. Still hopeful of playoffs but we are making it harder for ourselves.

I stand by what I said but we've just scored from a few kick made by one of said subs

In fairness, your season was over about 6 weeks ago. We've played you twice and you're nowhere near the standard required.
We’re not a bad side for this level, believe me, I know having spent the last 7 seasons watching football at this level (soon to be season number 8). It’s just so hard when clubs such as Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich, Derby, Bolton, Barnsley, Pompey, etc, dwarf your budget.

I’m hoping Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich & Derby go up as we just can’t compete and is not a level playing field with their respective budgets. I’ve said for some time now that the gap from League 2 to League 1 is just as big as the gap from League 1 to Championship.

Accrington away, this is probably our only real chance of getting three points until the last four games of the season...by which time we will probably have been relegated already. This means we will win tomorrow, to give us just a little bit of hope when in reality there is very little, football can be cruel at times.
Don't fancy it against us? U usually do well

We've had our injuries too pal, we've played 44 games to your 46 in all comps.

Two awful pieces of goalkeeping by Doohan for both Accy goals. Unacceptable really, we shot ourselves in the foot big time bringing him in to replace McGee.

I think this was a well deserved win for Cheltenham be who have considerably improved their league 1 prospects
Fleetwood still have plenty of hard work to ensure safety, fortunately teams at the bottom have again had bad results

The better side, 1-0 up and then totally shit the bed again.

We just aren’t getting anything this season.

Ground out another 3 points and a clean sheet.

7 more wins will do it.

Cracking turnout of just shy of 27k today too

Not really, I think we were lucky to play you at the start of the season before you really got going...you have improved, we have got worse...the only thing we have to look forward to next Saturday is seeing what witty songs the South Stand can come up with about Barton!

Can’t understand how we lost that.

Well I can, because we could (and probably will) play all month and still not score a f’ing goal…

Good to get the three points on the board. Pretty straightforward and if it weren’t for Cumming in goal with a couple of blinding saves for them might have been more. Not a huge lover of how we sat back at the end and just wish we’d not always be trying to walk it in and have a go but it hasn’t hurt us today.

Anyway we are as good as safe now. One more win and that’ll be enough I reckon.

0-0 decent result considering. Barnsley well average, the other play off chasing teams shouldn't be too worried about them.

Yup, we didn't play too well but took advantage of your one lapse of concentration. A decent team would have beaten us today and I really fear for you. No good team loses to us at home.

Cruise of a win and don’t think MK has a sniff. Dominated most of it and fairly similar to the Exeter win. Their keeper kept it to 1 which made it nervy but we were rarely in danger and that’s probably the bottom three not catching us now. Just need a few more points to prevent that 4th spot catching us but one more win probably ends the worry.

Yes we definitely have improved (we saw that today after getting outplayed away at Barnsley) but also have our slip-ups so who knows what will happen.
I think a win and a draw will see us safe. As for Barton, it will be water off a ducks back

Didn't watch the game but judging by the stats/general twitter commentary it sounds like we just about deserved it. Belter of a goal from May

Fair result.

We got a very early goal, but otherwise looked dogshite in the first 10 mins and Exeter were just walking through us, could have had 3 but their finishing was utter toss.

Exeter were having a lot of joy down the wings (as our left back has the pace of an oil tanker and we don’t have a non-crocked backup), and were looking more and more dangerous as we went for a second, leading to gaps which Exeter could and did counter at speed - so not that much of a surprise when eventually they scored - again, if they had better strikers then it could have been a thumping.

Results went our way to an extent, but if we go ahead then we need to be grinding out the win and we never looked solid enough to do that.

Alfie May has been some player for you, what it last season he scored 4 in one game. Where did you get him from ?

Good point after being 2-0 down at HT but it just still helps Derby more than us unfortunately.

Sat in the pub at the minute and on one hand I’m happy that we salvaged a point at a good Derby Count side away from home after being 2-0 down but on the other hand I’m disappointed and deflated as we really needed all 3 points today.

Ah well… onto Peterborough away on Tuesday we go.

Sign of a team that will win the league with ease. You seemingly haven't played well for some time yet keep churning out the wins.

Donny, he's had one prolific season for them, though 12 in 34 this term isn't to be sniffed at

Yeah seems so fella. Wonder if my Derby stalker will show up now we are 13 clear of them and have a game in hand....

We're safe now. The teams below us aren't going to suddenly get promotion form and we'll easily get 10 points or so.

I know I've said this a few times, but mk dons easily the worst team we've played....even worse than Lincoln who were dire. They didn't go for it at any point and barely got in our box. Their one shot on target is misleading as it was essentially a ball booted in the air that floated into the keeper's arms.

We've played better in recent weeks than today, against wycombe and Barnsley, yet we've come away with the points today.

Frustrated. Because today is another example of how poor this league is. I saw much better teams than mk dons last season....if they don't get relegated it will be a miracle.

Bet he’ll behave himself on the touchline though!

7 games unbeaten and 4 consecutive clean sheets. But more importantly 3 straight wins with Accrington at home on Tuesday a winnable game.

I’d say we’re over our blip. We now just have to hope one of Plymouth and/or Sheffield Wednesday have one.

Never. He will be in the ear of the 4th official though berating yet another piss poor referee, which we seem to get every week now.
