If only we had Stansfield on penalties.

Dominated the first 25 minutes at Reading, including Marquis missing his 3rd penalty in a row. Reading score with their first shot on goal after Hoole gets outmatched on the byline.

After the first half will feel like a missed opportunity if we don't pick anything up here

Can Clough turn this slump around or is he at risk of the boot?

Crawley much the better team in the second half except for five minutes after we score the first. Ran out 3-1 winners. Forster, Quiterna and Doyle (first goal on loan from Brighton via Exeter...its a 90th minute cracker).

Stevenage had a shout for a penalty. We had two. Not 100% sure on any of them but our first one the most likely but it was hard for the ref to see it.

Our first home win since November. Means sod all if we can't build on it.

Fucking gutted by that ending, it's our own fault for not turning domination into more goals though.

Really annoying that Bristol Rovers scored that near the end. I thought they were piss poor if I'm honest, daft free kick to give away and poorly defended but the bigger issue there was at 1-0, the game was there for 2 or 3-0 and we just don't go for it like we used to.

We've probably been due one of them, a lot of narrow victories, eventually it catches up with you. Funnily enough we let it slip in the game we looked least threatened, but that's how football works.

Another point on the board and 3 unbeaten, but can't help feel it was 2 points dropped for Salop. Reading looked poor tonight. Apart from us, not seen a team pass the ball straight out of play unopposed as much as them tonight

Cloughie will get a lifeline after they beat us at their place because we're the only other team their fans care about.

Absolutely dismantled Mansfield tonight. Took the second half off and were still miles the better side. Clough has a big job turning things round on that evidence. Perfect walk-in-the-park match for us with a punishing schedule ahead.

Glad we turned down £1,000,000 from Swansea for Ethan Galbraith. He’s worth 3x that.

Stockport are a good team, fast, strong and pass the ball well. They’re very well drilled. Despite them controlling the game, we held them fairly comfortably until Sousa decides to defend with some of the worst defending I’ve seen - making it far too easy for Diamond to make the cross.

We were really poor going forward tonight, no reason to be either. Every time we got the ball into the box, Stockport didn’t exactly look comfortable. The problem is we never did it, instead of attacking the box we kept passing it around and allowing Stockport to then force us back - plenty of chances to cross it in but we just didn’t take it.

Weird game though, not sure we deserved a point, but not really sure Stockport did enough to win either?

What’s positive though is that we refuse to lye down at home. In our last 5 home games we’ve scored at least 1 goal in the final 7 minutes.

Onto our cup final on Saturday: home to Burton. Absolutely massive

Stockport were the same as you guys, didn't pose much of a threat. I'd be amazed if either of you went up again
I would agree we're not promotion material, can't speak for Wrexham.

But the table doesn't lie, we're both the 3rd and 4th best teams in the division so far and it's been going for 6 months.

We've gone away to yours tonight, we were the better team throughout when in theory you should have been much fresher. I agree we didn't create loads but away from home I was surprised at how comfortable we were. Our achilles heel was not showing more threat to finish you off, I can't disagree with that.

Shrewsbury are definitley getting out of it as I said in the week. Ainsworth gets everybody running through walls for him.

Peterborough, Bristol Rovers and Exeter will be nervous. One of them will have to go. Could even be two of them because Crawley and Burton aren't immune to picking up big results, see Crawley tonight.

Not saying you’re wrong, but we’ve just picked up 10 points from 6.

The next 4/5 games are absolutely massive.

Burton (H), Wycombe (A), Northampton (A), Rotherham (H), Shrewsbury (A)

It's the paper thin squad that may hold us back. No sign of Pierre tonight. George Nurse started but went off injured again. He's had 2 years out with 2 ACL injuries. No other defenders in the squad other than the 5 that finished the game tonight.

Need to get through this run of 5 games in 14 days relatively unscathed injury wise and picking up points.

Makes a change being disappointed with an away point given our away record the last 2 seasons.

Draws with Burton and Northampton and 3 defeats would be pretty handy from those fixtures please!

I was more just reeling off the first three names above the drop zone to be fair.

Very convincing win for us against a patched up Mansfield, could've had one or two more in what was a very non event second half. Mansfield did have some chances in the first half, but offered very little in the second.

Excellent display again from Ethan Galbraith, topped off with a superb run and finish from right back. Will enjoy him while we have him because he will be sold to a bigger club at some point this year.

Randall Williams also very good with a well taken finish, we can finally bring better attacking quality players from the bench and with a very hectic schedule coming up, we will need them.

We were dogshit. Which is shocking as our midfield has two of the best passers in the league. Plain embarrassing tonight. Lucky for the point and we'll move on but Hunt looks increasingly clueless.

In all seriousness, i feel for the Cambs fans who travelled as their team looked like they were instructed to not even think about having any semblance of a go, clearly view Exeter saturday as a more important game.

Both pens were pens, so that is why they were given, Kieran Dowell is a baller, it was very cold but the balti pie was magnifique.

Onwards we go, to get some revenge over Charlton Saturday.... hopefully

Deserved win against Peterborough but left it late. A few controversial decisions in the game but none that I saw as obviously being wrong. We were completely dominant and should have been more comfortable but got the win in the end. Peterborough were awful, it feels weird seeing a Posh side look so bad.

Birmingham away on Saturday is a write off so anything other than a loss is a massive bonus

I think we all agree it'd be a great day if Posh go down, but I've got a feeling that when Poku returns for them (March?) then he'll get them a few extra points.

Make you right, unfortunately. Outside of the Brummie Galacticos he’s probably the best player in the division.

Great showing from our lot last night. Following the bitter disappointment from the Wrexham and Bolton games, it's so frustrating looking at the table knowing that we should be 4 points better off.

1st half was fairly drab but 2nd half we could have scored plenty more and fully deserved the win.

Great way to start our 3 home games on the bounce where i think 7 points out of 9 are required. Wycombe on Saturday and then Wigan Tuesday. If we play like we did in the 2nd half last night then the players should believe they can win all 3.

We really need to sort the defence out as we can't keep relying on scoring 2 or 3 goals a game to get anything from it.
