In all seriousness, i feel for the Cambs fans who travelled as their team looked like they were instructed to not even think about having any semblance of a go, clearly view Exeter saturday as a more important game.

Both pens were pens, so that is why they were given, Kieran Dowell is a baller, it was very cold but the balti pie was magnifique.

Onwards we go, to get some revenge over Charlton Saturday.... hopefully
First pen was very soft and at that point in the game Drysdale was at his most eccentric worst. The only surprise, it finished only 4-0, some good saves and wayward finishing kept the score, if not the performance slightly respectable. Dowell was very, very, good last night . At least Alfie May wasn’t allowed on the pitch to score his usual 2 or 3 against us. Which was nice.

One for the Bolton fans complaining about our keeper keep on going to ground in the game on Saturday. Turns out the injury he picked up has ended his season.

Luckily we had Wollacott back to go in goal last night otherwise it was an emergency loan. We haven't got a proper sub keeper as the lad, Sheikh, is really a development kid and nowhere near ready.

Bit soft maybe but still a pen for me. Both penalties were very clumsy though, Digger seemed surprised as anyone he went for a unnecessary twirl there! The first was a misjudged shoulder to shoulder but why do it? Needless.

I think we all agree it'd be a great day if Posh go down, but I've got a feeling that when Poku returns for them (March?) then he'll get them a few extra points.
It'll be Shrewsbury or Bristol Rovers, along with the other 3 currently in the drop zone. Ainsworth will definitely galvanise that Shrewsbury team but there's only so much turd polishing he can do. Bristol Rovers are utter crap also, and I just don't see them finishing above Exeter and Peterborough.

Saw them last night on the highlights show and they were both scandalous decisions IMO. Stansfield looked embarrassed that the second one was given.

How is a penalty being awarded for Laird being tugged back by one player and shoved in the back and off the field off play by another scandalous?

Second one was soft but there's absolutely no need for their player to even attempt to tackle him from behind when there was 3 other players around Stansfield. Tackle from behind, not get any of the ball, and take the man is pitifully naive and you're giving the ref almost no choice.

If Laird had been tugged back properly then there would have been no need, but I'm not holding that against a young talent like Barton.

I don't even think the second one was a challenge, he's just there when Stansfield starts showing off.

Nowt scandalous about it, just the kind of things that happen when you're bottom away at the Birmabeu.

I havnt watched it many times but on first viewing I was staggered the second was given, not that it made a difference overall.

I can understand the first penalty with the barge in the back but the second one is mental.
