Only half the league has a game on this time.

Will be hoping that Reading do us a favour after our incredibly indifferent showing at London Road today, they are certainly capable enough of the win on their day but can they stymie the curse of the Wxm 1-0?

I would say most of the other games seem fairly predictable other than Exeter v Mansfield, a glamour clash of sides who have flirted with relegation form but ultimately aren’t *quite* shit enough to drop into the bottom 4.

Still not won since the 4th of January but I'll gladly take a point here being our game in hand on Burton, will make it 9 point clear and reasonably comfortable considering how poor those four sides in the relegations spots are for the minute anyway.

I'll take a point too.
Touch wood, we are hard to break down now with a settled defence but still don't get into enough attacking positions so I suspect 0-0 is quite likely

All Reading home matches in midweek kick off at 8pm. Same with Bolton (I think?).

Something to do with congestion/traffic/giving people the best chance to get to the match if they're travelling in. Whether it makes any difference isn't something I'm aware of.

Shit loads of times at the start of the season yeah. Think we went a month and a half with only 1 home game between the start of October and mid November.

Interesting, never knew that.

Would dock them points again for that.

Why are they allowed to kick off at 3pm on a Saturday at all then?
It's sloblock, makes it harder for young fans to go on a school night.

And presumably away fans who are depending on public transport.

Fairly sure Reading have one of the bigger drop offs between Saturday and Tuesday attendances so not sure it's particularly useful for them either.

You've played the least amount of away games, along with us and Stevenage (16). So after Tuesday Birmingham will have played less away games that anyone else in the division.

Obviously it all evens out by the end of the season.

There is a conspiracy somewhere....

Just like that dickhead Mansfield fan was trying to claim we were at home all the time but couldn't grasp when its our turn to be away, like it is at the moment.

Not sure if there is some issue with posting on a mobile or something, but couldn't get on over the weekend as some message kept popping up and go nowhere.

As Denzel and Conker mentioned, I think both sides would be secretly happy with a point each - as Conker mentioned, we'd be 9 clear with a better GD with 30 left to play for, of course both sides would be looking for the win.

We've found a patch of form where we've played some decent stuff, better side against Burton and Wigan, and whereas Stevenage was more of an even game, we thoroughly deserved a point from a poor game - another game like that here would do.

Left out our best player from Saturday instead of McMillan, our most boring one.

Mansfield good for at least a point here.
Annoying drum though.

Only just kicked off and the Sky commentator has already called us the 'Red Devils' twice. Sigh

Loanee Murphey gives away a silly penalty and they score but then the picture goes down because of technical difficulties. HT 1-1

Obvious penalty was obvious.

Spend more time in the other team’s box, get more penalties. It’s not hard, other clubs should try it.

We seem to be proving that idea wrong tonight. It's been 1 sided so far and the most obvious pen we will see all season hasnt been given.

I am watching Reading v Wrexham, doesn't look much of a crowd. Quite stop start and reminds me of the game at Wrexham 2 weeks ago, Wrexham's style is not good on the eye.

Very stop start game at Reading, not helped by the fact that every time there is a 50-50 challenge with one of Readings Under-10 players they collapse to the ground and the referee gives them a free kick.

I can't imagine watching this game if you don't have to. Not the most riveting watch.

0-0 in Reading Wxm is probably about as good as can be hoped for, but I’ve been cheered up by the bore draw for them so often and then all hopes are dashed on 94 minutes.

Even a draw for them is a psychological boost going into Sat, but I’d take it.

Reading are the home side, onus is on them to actually do something here and take a risk. Doesn't help when you're in a half full stadium with no atmosphere. We will sit in and take this 0-0 all day long as it puts us into second place.
