I was a season ticket holder at Rovers when he was with us. I also never noticed him.
Bet you did at Vale Park! Still can’t figure out who that same player who burst through from half way and calmly lifted the ball over Aiden Stone is the same guy we signed! If it was now he’d either knock it too far and out for a goal kick or blaze it wide when the keeper advances.

He has scored 5 career goals past us (which considering I don’t think he has 30 in total!) but only 2 for us!

it took a full 1 minute for the boos to start at Vale Park, horrendous bit of comedy defending which nearly gave us a goal from the off.

Dreadful. Looked miles offside in the ground but again free header back post.

Oh wow… that was an unexpected half.

We might be shit but we must have the best corner routine across the whole 92 clubs. Great goal against Reading and Shipley has done the same against Bolton tonight.

Deservedly winning here, Hurst has got them right up for it tonight.

In fairness Vale have been a lot better since the first 10 mins (though they couldn't have been much worse).

Loft and Uche are getting stuck in up front (and getting wrestled by our CBs in return), and PV have actually had a few decent shots.

If they can build on that they could get back in it, but of course the onus is on them to attack.

How the fuck Uche made it as a professional footballer is baffling. First touch like a fucking trampoline. Vale been a shambles at the back, ineffective in attack. Apart from that the game has gone well.

Frustrating as per usual. Sloppy five minutes then largely dominated and a half decent attack would have scored 2 or 3 but good keeping, poor finishing and it not falling for us has cost us.

Probably the most chances we’ve created in a while. Loft nearly scored a stunner mind!

I actually think we've been the better team. But as per, we're shite at the back and can't score for shit. Classic relegation recipe.

Miserable end to the season. At least it's nearly over and I can not bother watching the last 3 games. Need a break from this shite.

Chin up, it's only half time.

Though if you can't beat Burton you deserve to go down..

This Shrewsbury team is so frustrating. We may still go on to lose this, but had they put the same effort in last Saturday as tonight we'd have got the better of Wycombe.

2 well taken goals, foul in the build up to Bolton's corner for the equaliser. Can't help but thinking there would have been loud calls for a penalty if the 50:50 with Udoh had been in our box.

Going to be a long second half, backs to the wall and time wasting no doubt, but needs must at this stage.

Aye get it out the way now rather than drag it out. It’s a lot easier that way. Carlisle had it right.

He still does the same thing he used to do for us where he'll completely flatten a player, then look absolutely amazed when the ref blows up against him.

He definitely looks up for it though, still a handful.

Yeah he does that though most notable time in the first half was him deciding to try and flatten one of his own teammates randomly in an aerial duel. You'd have almost been witness to a late goal of the season contender from Loft if that volley had gone in but it's Loft so yeah!!

Chislett is the one player in our team with some actual attacking quality when the mood takes him. Wouldn't shock me if a L1 club enquires about him once we're confirmed with the R against us.

Honestly like chalk and cheese - we've been brilliant second half. We will concede an equaliser though.

Don’t deserve that. Looked a mile off again so will have to watch it back.

Wycombe to be fair have done the dark arts well.

I honestly thought we would be blown away tonight, however we more than hold our own today, and didn't feel Oxford offered much going forward (maybe i just expected a lot more?), felt more under pressure at Reading a few weeks ago.

We had to win, and we did just that. When we had to be dirty and use all the tricks around game management, we more than did that. A lot of niggly fouls, a red and lots of yellows. But we saw the game out.

Only downside has been losing Hackett to injury at LWB, and then his replacement Duffy is sent off. Assuming Roughan will play there Saturday, and Jackson in the back three.

Oxford v Stevenage.Friday night then

Edit - I still feel we have too much to do, but.nice to dream for a few more days.
