Whilst our season won’t be decided on the basis of one game, interested to see how we fare against a promotion contender on Tuesday v Rotherham.

I doubt it’ll be one for the purist with two direct, physical sides going at it full pelt, but we’ll see how it goes.

Fleetwood away for us.
Happily take a point, especially with them winning 3-0 on Saturday and their league position been somewhat false as they have 2 games in hand.

AFCW for us. They seem to have had a weird season so far. Started well, went off the boil but have had the odd comeback this season. Given they have the joint worst defence in the league and a mid-table attack, probably no surprise they're top of that bottom third at the minute.

As for us, I'm not sure we'll risk McGrandles, Maguire and especially Walsh with two games in quick succession.

Problem is, most of our good play will probably go through Maguire, Walsh is our best CB and McGrandles is the only CM option at the minute with a bit of physicality about him!

Our next four after this are Wednesday (a), Wigan (a), Shrewsbury (h) and Sunderland (a) so we need three points here really.

At least our bench was much stronger on Saturday so we may have the options to replace and none of them looked like they were struggling.

We were bullied Saturday and I’m sure the fat man will have taken notice. Add that to his quiet demeanour with the officials I can only envisage another defeat.

They bullied us at our place. Horrible team but they know how to get the job done against teams who can't handle it.

Morecambe at home.

We should be looking to win, but they had the hex over us last season, so I certainly won't be counting my chickens.

I think it's 3 wins on the trot for you at the NYS so a point wouldn't be the worst result for us.
I just hope Wycombe don't score first or it will be a very very long night if its like the other 3 games.
Wycombe are very good at what they do and it says it all that most teams dread playing them.
You have to admire that they couldn't give a toss about the other team, they just get on with their own game.

Notlob tomorrow, I would be really looking forward to it but sadly I cannot go, and won’t be able to get to the radio. Mrs and one son are going so any post match comments I may make will be based on their views.

As of this morning Bolton had sold 650 tickets which for a Tuesday night is fantastic. Just such shame the game is midweek. We probably only have five teams that will bring a thousand or more so a it would have been better had this game been a Saturday. There are a lot of teams who bring 100-200 on a Saturday, think it would be better one of them played us on a Tuesday.

We are unbeaten in 18 league games on a Tuesday night i think you have not won in 12 months midweek
Guaranteed home win.
Strange stat apart 3 of our back 4 are out as is lee. Evatt also in the stands because of disciplinary actions this season [4 bookings]
Think Aimson may get a first start since leaving you in place of the suspended Santos.
Both full backs missing would snatch a point now

If it makes you feel any better, we're seven games without a win in 90 minutes on a Tuesday night this season (two were League Cup wins on pens). Having just come off Saturday, I would not be surprised in the slightest if our players were slightly hungover so to speak and we get caught cold.

We're at home to Ipswich. Could be a fun game as neither team can defend at the moment. 3-3

We have a few injuries and are a bit lightweight up front. We are decent but not sure that we will get a result tonight.

If we play tonight like we did for the first 70 minutes or so on Saturday then we should win. But I won’t get my hopes up.

Is Hoolahan fit? He’s still a worry even at his age, tore us a new one many a time in the Championship.

He doesn't normally play on a Tuesday night but Bonner has suggested he may feature in some midweek games but I think it's mind games.

I can see another high scoring game tonight. 2-2 or 3-2.

Oh, get those chickens counted. We are very fragile. Get at us and we part like the Red Sea.
I think Shane McLoughlin returns after a 3 match suspension which should make a bit of a difference.
Can't see anything but a loss for us, though.

Don’t think we are getting a point tonight and that Tuesday night record is going. I think we are going to be on the receiving end of an absolute hammering. No Santos, no gethin Jones, no Declan John, no Kieran Lee, sarce is playing with injections for a bad ankle injury and no manager in the dugout. We have some pretty good xg stats this season but we don’t take our chances and we concede sloppy goals especially from set pieces. That coupled with loads of injuries and midtable is what we should be aiming for this season which is what I said in pre season. We are at least 2/3 transfer windows away from being able to compete with Rotherham (who I think are the best team in the league and will win it because defensively they don’t concede a lot of chances and are great at set pieces) plus Wigan, Sunderland etc who will all be there or there abouts depending on injuries.

I really would not surprised to see Aimson and Baptiste in a back 5 tonight especially after the weekend. I think he is going to gravitate back to a back 3/5 eventually anyway. Hopefully with the right players next time to make it work.

Would appear Sam Elliott of the mirror is a AFC Wimbledon fan, after a bit of confusion over pay on the day he's visiting our lovely city.

I agree with a lot of what you say. We are one Transfer Window away from a promotion push
We have a decent 11 but beyond that our squad is too light.
A few injuries and we was always going to struggle 5/6 and we really are now struggling.
If we can limp [forgive the pun] on until Christmas it will at least give the board something to think about.
Dont like to say it but Wigan are by far the best team we have played this season

I think Wigan are a good side and it was certainly the best performance against us this season but I’m not sure how much of that was us making them look good because we were bloody awful. It was certainly the worst we’ve played this season. I can’t for the life of me work out why he started Bakayoko out wide again. He’s not a winger. Isgrove would have been a much better choice and should start most weeks for me until amaechi is fit.

I do really like Evatt and I do think he will end up as a great manager either for us or with someone else down the line but I hate it when he comes out and says we are the best team in the league. I like him having a bit of confidence and saying we are a good team as well as him demanding more of the players but it’s stupidity to come out and say we are better than everyone else in the league. Sets us up for a massive fall and incentivises the opposition. You never see pep or klopp come out and say ‘we are the best team in the league’ because football is based on small margins and any advantage or incentive you give to the opposition to work harder is going to count against you in the long run. It’s basic common sense and drives me nuts. He seriously needs to cut that crap out.

No i love Evatts attitude he is a winner he was right in a small way we have not been outplayed by anyone bar Wigan.
We got away with it last year and if he has a fault for me it is that he is very stubborn.
Half way will do for me this season then a mass clear out......Clough had the same attitude he will never be a clough but he is refreshing compared with the negative managers we have had in the recent past.

No Sarcevic tonight. Isgrove on the right and Baka up front which is the way most of us would have gone up front. I’m very nervous about the defence though but don’t think he could have picked any different with the players we have missing. Gonna be a long night I think!
