Only half of the teams have a midweek game this time round, catching up games in hand.

Probably a good time for Brovers to play us, at a point where our home form has turned mediocre, Kone is crocked, and their form is on an upturn.

We’ll certainly have to be far more on our game on Tuesday than we were v Crawley if we want to win the game.

By all accounts, our loanee Matt Butcher will be a loss for BRFC, but we still seem to be a team in transition and lacking a bit of the identity and consistency we had started to build up under Bloomfield.

Big loss not having Butcher, made worse by the fact we have Sawyers, Conteh and now Ward all injured meaning Lindsay will play, who is probably the worst of the lot.
If we can play more like the first half today we will have half a chance but I wont be confident. Josh Lows son to get his usual goal no doubt.
One positive is Chris Martin looked backed to his normal self today and James Wilson was immense along with Connor Taylor, just the midfield that is going to cost us as usual

Wxm v Orient a BIG game for both sides - a proper 6-pointer.
Orient on a mega-roll atm, and it's our first league game back at the once-fortress-like Racecourse, since we were really poor vs Stevenage and suffered our first home defeat of the season.
A win for us, and it's probs curtains for LO getting the auto promotion spot, but a win means it's all to play for!

Could do without a midweek game this week. Players looked out on their feet 2nd half against Bolton. Small squad catching up.

Pierre and Lloyd (big miss today) could be back in contention and waiting on Perry. No news on Castledine, which has been out since the end of January and not heard anything about his injury

Orient have been playing at home for weeks on end but their away form has been good too even before that. Big test for both teams really. We need to show that Stevenage game was a blip at home.

Might be dirtily cheering on Stevenage.

Any reason why the Shrews game isn't being shown? Chairman being a McAnthony?

I think Wrexham could be in for a surprise on Tuesday, we've been superb over the last 15 or so games and certain players (Galbraith, Donley, Abdulai, etc) have been oozing class in recent weeks.

Obviously we've not got anywhere near the resources Wrexham have, nor their embarrassment of riches upfront, but I fancy us to nick this one 1-2, think we've been a bit of a bogey side for Wrexham ever since the non league days.

That said, it's a tough place to go on a Tuesday night at short notice so a load isn't too damaging, think autos are a stretch tok far for us, firmly hoping we can sneak 6th.

I don't think anyone is underestimating you after your recent results tbh.

Must win game v Wigan.
Considering our "best" players have been unavailable last 2 games we've done OK.
I think Liam Fraser could turn out to be a major factor in us avoiding the drop.

I've just assumed that it was on TBF. Not heard any reason why it wouldn't be.
The suggestion is with our game at Peterborough is that it when the original game wasn't scheduled for TV it's up to the home club to decide whether they want it shown or not

Yeah it's a nice try but we won't be fooled. "In for a surprise" by a team that has been in title winning form for months.

Probably try telling that to Sky and your foreign “fan”base

First of what will be 3 of our toughest games for a while and a tough 7 days, away to Wrexham, Bolton and Birmingham.

I doubt we will come out of this without at least one loss, we're still having to rotate our team to manage this tough period. I thought on Saturday we missed the leadership of Darren Pratley and Omar Beckles, when both of those play we tend to manage our leads better as they're the experienced leaders we have. Our squad on paper is talented but still needs leadership.

It will be a game where will need to be clinical again with our chances as I can see Wrexham scoring, if we score first we usually get something out of games.

Whereas i was pleased to get a draw at blackpool, the minute they introduced pace they absolutely diddled us, had they don’t so from the start would’ve been a different story.

If lincoln have done their scouting right and still have the pace they had early in the season id be fancying an away win.

Would take another point.

Jackson, Bayliss and Collins will come back in for this one I suspect. Potentially Hamilton for McGrandles as well (who's well out of form) and Darikawa returning after missing Orient (wife gave birth on Friday night). Don't think Clucas will start twice in quick succession.

Dunno what to expect from this. We're so unbelievably frustrating this season, probably one of the most frustrating in my 23ish years of watching us - we have spells where we knock it around and look semi-competent, knock it around and can't find a team-mate, work the more direct game well or launch aimless balls on the diagonal. We're less than the sum of our parts this season, we should be doing better both individually and as a team but if that hasn't changed at this point in a season, it's not suddenly going to happen.

Unfortunately, we're not clinical in the final third or create too many chances full stop and we don't do clean sheets either, which as you can imagine, isn't a great combination hence 3 wins in 18.

We have Burton on Saturday, and I think some of the natives will start getting restless if the next two results are dodgy. There's already an unsettling undertone to things and it's hard to argue too much against that but a few things don't quite seem aligned this season rather than it just being about Skubala.

Played two more than everyone else, automatics aren't a realistic prospect right now
If you repeat your last 7 results for the next 7, you'll probably be in those spots or at least less than 3 points off.

IMO Stockport need to wrap Oliver Norwood in cotton wool until the end of the season, bossed both games against us

My main concern for the Lincoln game is the lack of confidence Pym is on at the minute, funnily enough he had a mare against Lincoln earlier in the season then proceeded to be unbelievable for the next 10 or so games, literally winning points for us on his own.

They will definitely target him with constant balls in the box if they are given the space to do so and the interview from Clough today is pretty grim, Cargill, Hewitt and Williams doubts, all three played brilliantly in defence Saturday so that would be our defence decimated.

Positive is Vickers from Brighton really does look like some player, he is going to score soon enough.

Yeah he's been different class the last few weeks, really showed his quality.

We have harder fixtures in March though. Blackpool, Charlton, Bolton and Wrexham (at the Racecourse being the important point to note as we both know it's imperative to know who the home side is in matches between us two)

And if we'd repeated our previous 7 results for those games we'd be mid-table, it's all rather academic

I was about to rubbish the suggestion that Blackpool's a hard fixture, but then I saw they haven't lost since their game at our place on Boxing Day!

That is a rough run, quite handy that you face some of those sides in that time. Still, I wouldn't say you're out of a chance of automatics at this stage. I'd say anyone in the top 8 could get there if they went on the right run, as ourselves and Wycombe will drop plenty of points from here.

Lincoln didn’t have much pace outside of Makama at the weekend (and he’s a bit of a donkey, bless him). You can probably get away with one or both of Flint & Kilgour at the back to deal with their hoofball. If you’re as fuck-awful at competing for second balls as you were on Tuesday you’ll get battered, though.

I think we are over that, I hope! we won everything Saturday. It’s insane really we’ve been the hardest working side in the entire division then confidence drops and suddenly you are not competing for second balls and just accepting a comfortable defeat at Orient on a Tuesday night.

Flint will almost certainly play, got an injury crisis at the back.

Nightmare run of four matches for us (the 3 consecutive away games already mentioned followed by Charlton at home). Realistically we’ll have done more than okay if we come out of it with 4 or 5 points.

Certainly don’t fear anyone, but up against Wrexham’s hostile home crowd, direct style of play and, if we’re being honest, the officials, it’s going to be a tough night for our extremely young squad. We’ll be missing the wily shithousery of Darren Pratley and with Tom James’ injury our best attacking player will probably be at right back. We’re also without our two starting CBs so the squad is severely stretched - any injury in the back line will likely see the excretable Brandon Cooper come on and then we’ll really be in trouble.

2-0 defeat in our worst performance for ages I reckon.

I honestly dunno how Blackpool got away with it from what I’ve witnessed, they can be a threat up top with a lot of pace but defensively very pedestrian and they don’t like a battle in the middle either.
