We've been absolutely woeful in the final third. Pub level stuff. Not scoring tonight.

Missed a couple of chances, for sure. Open game, though

Watching the game Stockport just got an undeserved lead but the marking was shocking so Carlisle cannot complain.

Stockport are certainly more of a team and play it about but created nothing, Carlisle look extremely basic but are very hard working and close down quickly across the pitch which in the game so far has given them some opportunities. Had two tea opportunities to score.

Think they will finish 8th, give Simpson praise for the turnaround, but if he is going to stubbornly persist with wing backs that simply hasn’t worked for 8 games now (not one, eight) then I’m sorry you don’t deserve too 7.

Wing backs should have ended 2-3 games ago. They could change formation right now and have the personnel but army.
Thought County looked decent so far myself. But the reaction of our defence to Mellish's initial error was criminal - Huntington and Whelan ball watching, and not convinced with Holy's positioning. Good finish though.

God gillingham is bleak, thank christ I can go home after this, disappointing the ref is a Gills fan but oh well, league 1 beckons!!

Which of the obviously correct decisions do you have an issue with this evening out of interest?

And yes, it is a bleak place to live, it's a very poor area of the South-East which lost its main industry and therefore a lot of people are living in relative poverty. Thanks for your comments though

Thomas Parsons is a gimp. He's a power hungry fruitcake and needs his whistle taken off him. Idiot.

Only that Ehmer didn’t get sent off for his rugby tackle when last man. And the goal kick he just gave after Tom James’ free kick hit the wall then got tipped over by Morris. We’ve been the better side throughout, even with 10 men. Still something for us here.

Yep Stockport look the better team as in quality of the play.

Carlisle seem to just mass defend them lump forward and work on very hard working players being able to close down quickly across the park but there is extremely little actual build up play or creativity there.

But they are unlucky tonight as Stockport have created nothing yet got a goal from what little they had.

Got to change tactics it just looks so utterly basic when you watch them.

Could have been 3-0 up mate, but nothing created.

1-1 at Sutton, conceded just before half time. TBH Sutton have been the better side, have the wind at their back but the lack of Guthrie is noticeable, Sutton are winning everything up top. Not a shock with 7 or so defenders out i guess. Need to scrape a win somehow with other results not so favourable atm, need a huge 45 mins. Have to try and keep the ball a bit better, we have been very cheap with possession so far.

Could just have easily have been 2-0 down in all fairness. Think you've just about edged it, but Jordan Gibson's criminal miss at 0-0 has made that lead possible. Cracking save from Dennis' effort too - and Corey Whelan's failure to gamble on an early corner may well come back to haunt us. Open game, though we've struggled defensively.

Agree, it’s been a very open game. Dennis will probably bag against us, no doubt be up for it given the way he was treated here.

Both of which were after my post.

Ehmer's foul was 40 yards from goal and there was cover from Masterson. Bit different to Beckles 20 yards out with no cover at all.

I'll give you the goal-kick from the free kick if it makes you feel better, but it was a lovely dive to win the free in the first place.

We've had Orient at arm's length for the majority of the game in honesty, let them fanny around with it in unthreatening areas all they want as far as I'm concerned. Possession stats mean very little when you're a goal down.

Fairly even first half down here, I’d say we’ve shaded it but nothing of note other than skimming the post, players are putting a decent shift in without much quality. Akinde still hasn’t changed since he was with us.

Agree we’ve shaded it. We’ve been much better than last few weeks which isn’t saying much. Smith very unlucky to hit the post with a great volley. Game is there for us.

Swindon definitely there for the taking.

Cook has fluffed a 1 on 1. Smallwood blazed over from 17 yards out. Critchlow had the best chance of the game from a corner.

We look relatively comfortable all things considered.

Chapman gone off injured. Nevers done OK since he came on.

More of the same in the second and chances will come. Wouldn’t rule out Swindon scoring at some point, though.

Smyth should have been given a 2nd yellow for an awful dive, and the resulting free kick took a deflection off the wall and Morris tipped it over so should have been a corner rather than a goal kick.

Not sure what all the arm waving from the Orient players is all about.

Pratley could/should be off too, after waving his arms in the refs face while on a booking
Hunt lucky to only get a yellow for elbowing Nichols in the face. Had a little look behind him and saw Nichols coming and proceeded to fling his arm out.

Orient very lucky the ref has been so lenient with them

As ever, and this applies to fans of all teams - just because your team has had a lot of decisions go against them, it doesn't mean the referee is necessarily wrong to have done so.

Pratley with another talking to from the ref. Must be on his last last chance. Very lucky to still be on the pitch.

Switch to 4-3-3 and amazingly
Score and look more dangerous.

Saying that game now wide open and Stockport had two chances to score.
