Have we any bogey teams left now - Bromley, Donny, Harrogate, Bradford (at home) and now Fleetwood bogeys banished? And we are still Everton's bogey team...
We also put the Tranmere away hoodoo to bed, think we’d drawn 1 and lost 8 of previous 9 visits there before we beat them this season.

100% - we were awful and deserved to lose.

If that was a one-off you’d take it but it’s very worrying that performance came off the heels of Tuesday night, everything looks wrong with us at the moment - no variety in our attacking play, we’re leaving wing backs isolated defensively and the box midfield really isn’t working. Maynard just doesn’t have any tricks up his sleeve when things aren’t going well.

Agree with all that but would change the end but to Maynard just doesn't have a y tricks up his sleeve when his key players are out.

Worrying performances without doubt a miracle we have only lost once in a long time. Undeserved victory.

Expected most top teams to win today so we had the most favourable fixture on paper so had to win. Had to.

Looking at the league table what the hell has happened to the league's best Cook and Chesterfield jeez!

Another day, another bullshit red card for Vale.

Salford were absolutely wank!

Their number 5 barges into Curtis after the final whistle. Curtis justifiably shows his disgust at the needless action, and lo and behold, he gets a red, and their number 5 basically walks off laughing.

No doubt, Mr. Nice Guy, Darren Moore, won't appeal it, even though we're literally scraping the barrel for options now. Absolute joke. Oh well. We'll keep plodding on. 8 unbeaten now.

Absolutely shite that today. We’ve got a real knack of losing crap games where both sides are shit on the day, and that’s a nasty habit that needs shaking sooner rather than later because sometimes a point is okay !! (fear it could be a bit too late this time round but you can never say never). The penalty we conceded today was so needless and self inflicted ffs.

No media duties done by anyone from the club post game due to the Tyrone Williams situation who was stretchered off first half, so that is really worrying news in terms of the condition he’s in, so my thoughts are with him & fingers crossed he will be okay!

That’s when you need your tricks surely? I think you’ve got to recognise you can’t create chances in a slow buildup with Grant and Edwards the same way you can with players like McGoldrick. So you’ve got to have a plan to go more direct

Frustrating to let in a late equaliser. Still another game unbeaten and we come into some home games.

True. So if you go more direct do you change formation and personnel or just style?

What does Grant do? What is he?

Jones and McGoldrick are a huge loss if you don't have tricks up your sleeve.

We’re above Chesterfield . . , . We’re 10th . . .
With 2 wins and 8 points of out 30 in the last 10, frankly at this stage I'm glad we've already got 42 points on the board!

Thanks. I thought (hoped) that would be the situation but wondered whether there might still be a group of fans who couldn't see past his early investment and meteoric rise and still see him as some

Well done you Grimsby lads, best of luck in getting into the play offs

Behave, your players have more hands than a gospel choir. Never seen so much shirt pulling and grappling. Harry Smith especially culpable, lucky to still be on the pitch. Tshimanga must have learned that at your place too, he wasn't like that here but looks like he wants to swap shirts with Grimes today.
It's a scrappy, crappy sort of game with very little quality so far I reckon. Feels a bit like whoever scores first wins. I'm still not hugely sold on Olakigbe, and I think we have very little in midfield today. Might take 1 moment of brilliance from someone to settle it. Banks might be one to bring on because of the fact he has that in the locker alone
Obviously you’re a chesterfield fan and have a different view to that of mine, a Swindon fan. Your players stayed down at the slightest touch and were pushing and pulling Smith from minute 1. Smith won everything in the air despite that. Not for the first time this season the opposition did everything possible to get smith sent off and it’s to his credit that he stayed on the pitch despite the obvious provocation. Having said that it was a truly appalling game

We were the better team today by a considerable distance. Should have been going into halftime with a stronger lead, perhaps 3-0 would have been a fair reflection. Sarcevic really is ridiculously good; It's a shame he was injured early in the season. Couple of players going off but thankfully all are okay. Nine wins in a row at home. Four clean sheets on the bounce. The defence has been excellent really, especially King Baldwin. Tough game against Bromley on Tuesday but I'm confident of a win.

Thought a point was the least that we deserved today - it felt as though 90% of the game was played in the Wimbledon half, they scored with their only opportunity of the first half and after a slow start to the second we got back on top for the rest of the game too.

If we had any faint hopes of mounting a late play-off push though we need to be winning these home games, too many draws to do anything of note this season. Should be a good base to be up there next year though hopefully.

Lost patience with Grant if I’m honest, I don’t think he’s bad but I also just don’t think he’s good either.

I’d like to see us go 433 or 442 at times, the current back 3 arent good enough on the ball for me to justify how much of it they see - I think Johnson has been poor since he’s come in the side, doesn’t progress the ball well at all into midfield - just goes back inside to Platt or out to Gordon and back again

Jarvis is clearly a winger and not a wing back as well so that was tough to watch at times

Mai Traore with as many assists as Dan Crowley has since leaving in his 52 minutes of English football so far. :animatedf:

Looked a shadow of his former self today. Legend says he's still running in circles in our centre-circle.

Haha what a godawful wank performance that was. A lame semi final playoff defeat by Bradford or Grimsby is heading towards us like that asteroid.

In fact I’d rather the asteroid than sit through that again.

It's been a surprising decline. I expected more from the NL champs this season.
Indeed, we've gone from a win away from 2nd to here. I'd like to blame it all on injuries, I mean it's a factor, but honestly we've just failed to replace Dilan Markanday and James Berry properly and generally our recruitment I don't think has been quite at it. I see Markanday can't get a game for Orient, I assume we're monitoring that very closely and have him in the WhatsApp groups still.

At the risk of sounding like Arsene Wenger, I didn't see any of that. I saw Smith throw Sparkes, a guy half his size, to the ground which our bench was incensed about and I think he was quite lucky to escape with only a yellow, he could have gone for violent conduct there. You turned it into quite a physical affair from the off, which is absolutely your want to do and if it works it works.
Awful game agreed which for all the world should have just ended 0-0 but we keep finding a way of losing at the minute.

Not sure how we've come away with nothing there. Much the better team in the first half, and still had plenty of chances in the second. Goes back to our issue all season though, in that we just can't score.
Bass made a fantastic save first half, clawed it out from behind him, your keeper should have saved the first.
Very fine margins and we were very lucky to get the win.
Our league position says we're right in it but our performances at the moment are pretty ropey and at some point we need to improve or we will fade at the sharp end of the season.

What an absolute weapon that bloke is your shit mate that's why your second from bottom stop making excuses he's as bad as that c*** Robinson at Salford.

Did he make excuses? I've no idea whether it's justified but in that clip he was saying you lacked class in victory, not that the victory wasn't deserved.
