Going well for us at the moment with FGR and Cambridge losing, Exeter drawing and Newport and Cheltenham level. Newport would still go above us with a point but think I'd rather those two draw.

Questionable quality, but an entertaining game on the balance of things. FGR showed flashes of how they can play, but were below par for the most part. We did enough to win without being outstanding. Not really one to remember, despite the interesting looking scoreline!

Fair result in the end, awful conditions. One of the worst displays from a ref i've seen though, Walsall should have had a blatant pen and we probably should have had one as well. A lot of bizarre decisions tonight.

That felt like a big win. We were terrible and got away with one but to come out second half and get the +3 is a sign of a team that never gives up.

Southend run out of steam after pressing up very well in the first half but with the wind we were always going to get on top. Southend will be fine and stay up but I am very very happy with this one as we all know Southend bottled the game in November. My eyes are dry now.

Really? I thought we had some nice patterns of play and did really well. The team move for the second goal was brilliant.
