Classic banana skin Vs Barrow. Win and we’re a point off the play offs and 5 points from autos.

The end of the season is gonna be mental for the top 11

Harrogate obviously have few handy players like Armstrong, Muldoon and Diamond but it’s a game we really need to look to be winning for me. Got the all important three points yesterday even if the football was more functional than spectacular. Regardless how it looks we have two away games at Harrogate then Colchester which if things go our way could leave us sat very nicely in the playoffs. Obviously things are never that simple though.

Tricky tie but one we need to be winning, we have done a couple of really professional jobs on these in the last few months and need to again.

They seem to concede a lot of goals but do seem capable of scoring and seem quite inconsistent.

Win the next 2 - top 3 is well and truly on.

4 or 3 points - play offs achievable, just

2,1 or 0 - season over.

Another side who you can't really judge. They seem so up and down. We don't look like we're going to concede many but we need to be better creatively. Harrogate are a big unit from memory but if we get in amongst them and zip it about we should win. 4-6 points from the next couple of games could see us right in the mix and with games in hand still.

bloody hell another round of games for everyone, i’d expect northampton to beat walsall, anything else would be great.

Be interesting to see how FG get on at newport, they’re on a bit of a wobble though of course obviously still going up

I was under impression that Newport normally get the better of FGR, so I checked the stats; -

Basically the matches are evenly divided: -Newport 2 League wins and FGR 3 with three drawn matches.
Obviously Newport winning in last season's Play-Off semi does give them the more prestigious banter and they are on the cusp of play-offs, so I'll accept they can and probably will give FGR a rough ride.

I'd imagine we'll lose again tomorrow, whilst as I expected Saturday we showed a bit more fight (from some players) and did actually make some chances and let Carlisle off the hook, we still don't really react well to falling behind.

You could tell at the weekend we didn't have much of a gameplan and the players are still very unsure about things, which then makes the crowd anxious and unsure. Unless we get any new manager to come in with a bit of experience, we will go down because we dont look like we're going to score anytime soon, let alone get any points.

Typical of our ownership, very Americanised - Good at generating revenue and a good commercial side, but too many approvals and processes to through on the football side, which is partly why we find ourselves in such a bad position.

You need to start winning some games now. I reckon you'll still be alright but its going to be close.

Bristol Rovers away for us and we've lost every league game we've played down there - BUT they were all at the old Eastville Ground in the late 60's and 1970 in what was Division 3 (Division 1 now),
We have however played them once at the current ground;- winning 2-1 in the FA Cup 2nd round in 2016.
Chances are one of them 2 records will continue...

I missed the cup game ( thank god ) . But the last time I saw you was at Eastville in 1968. I think we won 2 - 1.

Rochdale at home.

After a welcome win over Orient, this will be a different prospect. Rochdale are unbeaten in 4, including an impressive win over Northampton.

We showed more desire but still defended crap against Orient and would have conceded 2 or 3 if not for some seriously bad Orient finishing.

We won’t get away with it against Rochdale so can’t really see beyond a comfortable away win.

Carlisle United 0-2 Rochdale

Hate this orient team, we're sleepwalking our way into the non-league.

When we go down I can't see up pinging back in 2 years like last time, we're going to be the next Wrexham.

What a waste of all the hard work to get back into the league.

Still got a managerial appointment to make that could change all that though

We've had 17 managers in 8 years, hard to get excited about number 18.

We are a total shambles right now, from players on the pitch to the boardroom.

Anyone playing us is guaranteed at least a point.

I'm dumbfounded as to what has happened at orient. Gave us a really good game at Vale Park which we were lucky to win and were beating teams 4 and 5 at home. Looked a really strong team. What's happened in less than 5 months?

Just noticed that although our away record isn't great we have won 2 of the 4 midweek away games;- at Mansfield and Northampton... so there's some hope to cling to - at least for the next hour and a bit.

Worrall fit enough to make the bench but no Proctor is a blow already!

I think last season we had a good record for Tuesday away games - definitely Cheltenham, Forest Green and Mansfield (possibly Oldham too). Although Hartlepool the other week was our worst performance of the season...

I’m not sure how can justify Cooper starting given his underwhelming efforts the two times he has. Would rather we switch to 3-5-2 and put Charsley in midfield who has impressed me in the glimpses we’ve had.

Have a feeling we will be in the bottom two at 9.45.

I’d like to see Cooper start at home as think with his explosive pace and way he likes to knock it and beat a man Vale Parks width would suit him, not so much away from home though at smaller grounds like this!
