Tranmere were terrible and we were even worse, that match was the biggest crime against football this week and that’s saying something! Not a shot on target between either side and a goal because it came off our defenders backside, summed it up and us up. We don’t deserve to be near the playoffs we’re so devoid of ideas in attack it’s painful. If not for a fluke goal both would still be playing now and not have had a shot on target it was bad even by this leagues standards.

We will be advocating for a mid season break next year, like those premier league ponces.

We conceded at least 2 if not 3 goals against them from set pieces in the return fixture inside the first half an hour. We had conceded the most from set pieces in the league this season before this run and we looked awful at the weekend against 2 physical front men. That’s more what I meant. Carlisle are very direct and create a lot of chances. They aren’t the best defensively so I think we will create chances. I really hope I’m wrong and we see a big reaction but if we defend and finish like we did on Saturday we won’t win.

Next season set pieces has to be a priority. As you say we waste virtually all of them. We could easily add 10 plus goals a season with a better delivery and more work on it.

Totally agree i was only talking since our upturn in Jan, at least we got the 3 points lol
