I bloody love Tom Bayliss!!! Three wins on the bounce and that play off places are in sight once again…

Onto FGR we go!
I can't work you lot out, you seem to go on winning and losing runs like Burton have done in the previous seasons!

We're consistently inconsistent. Will probably lose 2-0 at home against Forest Green on Saturday now that we've just won 3 on the bounce, having lost the previous 3 over Christmas. No draws since 9 November

We can’t work it out ourselves. As the Salop fan above says, we’re consistently inconsistent. Definitely not good for the betting man put it that way.

I think we’ve got a slim chance of making the play offs as like I’ve said all season, our starting 11 is certainly good enough but we’re just lacking that squad depth. We’ll see if Roland fancies it enough by throwing a few more £££ about before deadline day. Just need a couple more decent back up players when our inevitable injury crisis hits once more. This team isn’t quite as good as our 2017/18 season but it’s not far off!

The results last night did us no favours but it is still all on us, gives us bit of time to bring in additions and returning players ahead of Plymouth at home.

Looks like Kachunga was getting held and he slapped him in the midriff. Maybe a punch. But definitely wasn’t Charles?
Apparently this was the same ref that allowed Accringtons 'handball assisted' goal to stand against us and he said it wasnt a handball in the box if it went to another player. Where do they dig these refs up from?!

That’s the rule with VAR isn’t it? If it’s not deliberate handball or making his body bigger (I don’t even know the exact handball rule anymore) and the ball goes to another player it counts… but if the players who’s hand it hits … scores then it doesnt count. The whole thing needs simplifying again.

And we have previous with the very same ref too. Sometimes I think well the refs etc work full time and referee so it must be difficult for them but then how can you forgive a linesman that gets the wrong man sent off even when our player owns up to it. There are some shocking officials at this level. It needs to become a full time gig to give them half a chance

Barton's been saying the same thing for a long time now. So much money in football yet cant spend it on full time refs/training.
Its uncanny how many really bad decisions we have got in the past 2 seasons since Bartons came here. Its almost as if everyone hates him  yet despite playing against 12 men most weeks he is still doing a job....
Bobby Madden is another absolute belter if anyone is unfortunate enough to get him.

Yes they changed the attacking handball rule to just if the scorer handles it then the goal is disallowed whereas before it was anyone in the build up .

TBH all seems a bit harsh unless it’s deliberate or really charges the direction of the ball.

Yeah I can’t stand him. Mind you plenty of opposition fans can’t stand Evatt. I think he’s one of those Barton where if he is the manager of a your club you love him because he’s your dickhead. If you know what I mean. Same with when we had Diouf back in the day. Everyone hated him. Booed him every week etc. but we loved him.

I can’t find the stat but I’m sure since Evatt became manager we’ve had 5 red cards rescinded. Which is crazy that we’ve had that many red cards overturned because the ref has got it wrong.

The problem with Barton is that, despite everything else, he speaks an awful lot of sense, about football at least

Or maybe he just moans about decisions every week...

It's pretty obvious to all of us watching. We have had more bad decisions in the last 2 seasons that at any point in my 40 years as a ST holder, coinciding with Barton joining. Im positive his presence as our manager works against us with these refs

Enjoyable game that, should have been 7 or 8.
Broadhead looks absolutely epic and potential cheat code at this level.
