Get good people running the club both on board and CEO level, engage with the local community/fans and try and get some momentum. I really don't want to rub it in but you have to use us as an example on getting back to the league as a united club and riding the momentum.

Yep, that's the crux of it. The first signs of our momentum disintegrating were seconds after the final whistle in our promotion final and we made sure it was all but gone by about October/November of the next season.

Looking from the outside keeping MD for one one year is important to your club.
With him at the helm Cheltenham will, I expect, do okay. A new manager is always a voyage into the unknown. In truth Cheltenham struck gold when they appointed MD. First club he had ever managed and a club that had been skirting relegation for a few years but two years later VOILA.

yet both your commentators said it was a stonewall penalty as your defender caught Bobby Thomas's ankle - but the camera was on the opposite side of the pitch than the commentary team - so maybe they had a clearer view of the incident.
