Huge win, really important to get that, think we deserved it, better first half, final ball lacking, saw the game out second half with the terriers creating not a lot in the second period.

Feel for Iwata, horrendous challenge by Hogg the DVB, should have been a straight red but the ref was clearly too far away to make that decision ( he was 2 yards away) be surprised if we see him for a few months now. Not the first time rough house tactics from the opposition as they cannot beat us by playing.

Hopefully Iwata will come back soon. Great goal by Keshi, he has been great for us and didn't cost us a penny.

Im calling it now, its done, promotion is secured and its now who wins the title. Delighted. Get us out this league due to the rank offiicialdom alone

Yesterday was an absolute disaster from our perspective, expecting a response after the cambridge debacle, we were somehow worse.

We were lucky in a sense that it was crawley, as had we played anyone decent they’d have put 4 or 5 past us - it’s easy to see why crawley will play league 2 football next season.

We’ve just no pace and the players looked flat and tired, no surprise about us, and i think we’ll lose again against shrewsbury saturday.

Cloughs interview that we don’t need anyone else this window must be smoke and mirrors as its evident we need new body either in an AM perspective for a forward.

We’re still not out of danger but our early season form has done us a world of good.

No it's not that bad. Just your standard over reaction after a loss that all the parasitic social. media accounts that have sprung up like 'Wrexham Insider' amplify.

It's a terrible performance but in a day or two calmer heads will prevail. Same thing happened last season when we lost to Bradford and Tranmere at home.
Next 4 all away doesn't bode well. With our record I'd be surprised if there isn't a couple more defeats to nil in there.

Fans going mad that we aren't completely on track for our third successive promotion. As far as I can tell it is mainly your fairweather fans who weren't there during the Conference years and wouldn't have a clue what a Devonshiring was if it was staring them in the face. That defeat has been coming though, sometimes battling hard and second balls isn't enough and you need more savvy to your game.

Every time you look at Stevenage's results they seem to be doing an annoyingly good job on someone yet they aren't in the playoffs somehow. 6 points off us this season and good value for it too.

It's not rocket science. When we beat Orient in October we had three proper central defenders, today we had one and two numpties. Orient were good but we were dreadful. We are going down unless we sign someone players quickly.
This years Vale?

Fuck football.
Fuck Caldwell.
Fuck off.
Do you think your form over the last few games is reverting a a better reflection of you this season? Even when you had that decent run of form with clean sheet as well, you were conceding a huge amount of shots on goal (and still have one of the worst shots against averages in the division).

A frustrating evening for us. Definitely didn't deserve to lose that 2-0. When we're shit, I'll hold my hands up, but felt we competed well. They looked dangerous on the break, but nothing much between the sides first half, Fletcher missed a sitter for them, Draper missed a chance for us. They went ahead with a ball over the top, O'Connor missed the header, Jackson missed the ball on the floor and it sneaks through to Fletcher who dinks it over the keeper.

2nd half, the game suited them. They could sit deep, time waste and break fast. A corner drops in the box and they get on the end of it and it kills off the game.

We score first in that game and reckon we'd win that. We huffed and puffed, Hackett did well after he came on, as did Hamilton, but they defended really well, not allowing any clean strikes from us. Did have ball in the net, but was offside.

I still have no idea how Blackpool are below us after seeing them in their games against us. I can see them putting a run together.
Haven't seen a replay but Collins looked level to me. As you say, it was actually a decent performance last night I thought and a decent game overall.

Losing House alongside Cadamarteri means we're back to Draper/Makama again!

You didn’t really get out of second gear and we couldn’t trouble you. Agreed it was a red all day for Hogg, not as bad but Dykes maybe lucky to stay on but would need to see again.
You will walk to the title, as you should with that squad. Huddersfield need to find some form quick, Joe Taylor out injured already sums up the type of season we are having on that front.

I don't think this is news - with your games in hand, your squad and your points position it would take the mother of all chokes for you not to (at worst) bag an auto spot but most likely to take the title.

We aren't consistent enough at home any more and can't deal well with teams who come and park the bus - leading to a bunch of draws. We'd have to fix that if we had pretensions to recovering top spot but I think that's a bridge too far.

Comfortable win in which we were rarely threatened and should have won by more. Probably our best game of the season for chance creation. Rovers were awful which helped.
Fair play to Burton for turning it around. By far the worst league one side Ive ever seen, so to get some confidence back into the squad is some achievement

I don't agree Kanu off the bench was superb though!

Not convinced their winner was onside and a point each was probably about right, but as Laker says I just don't think there's enough about us all things told.

Not falling into a traditional Monk slump is the entire order of business now. Not all is lost. Yet.

It was certainly close to being offside but that linesman was very quick to put his flag up all night and he seemed happy enough but it's not clear on the replays.

Great pass from Wilkes and super finish from Odoffin though TBF.

If you look at the BBC stats we were overall the better team but Cambridge were definitely not in the 4 worst teams we've seen at NYS.

Steven's save from a James shot which deflected off one of your defenders was outstanding.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

It's looking like we will finish around the 10th place I predicted but it's not out of the question we could get a bit higher if we get a couple of signings in this week.

Social media saying Parkinson is fighting for his job.

Is it that bad? It would seem extremely harsh to sack him after this.

You only have to look over to Mansfield Town to see what failure really looks like.
Not sacakable but replaceable come the end of the season.

What sort of manager do you think you guys would be looking for? more progressive? a young up and comer ot someone with more champ experience?

Presumably someone who’ll have the razzmatazz and personality to compliment all that Hollywood claptrap.

I’m sure the result last night will have been disappointing but would be rather the overreaction for talk about him leaving how well they’ve done so far.

also they only lost as i put £30 on wrexham to win

We were conceding a fair number of shots on goal but we generally speaking performed pretty well up until Christmas and felt we’d finish around 12th-14th. Ironically, we struggled to score in the first half of the season and now we’ve improved on that, we can’t defend for toffee.

But that is virtually entirely down to losing Crama back to Brentford and both Sweeney and Yfeko being out longterm.

Also Caldwell seems hell bent on freezing out Ben Purrington which means we’re plugging the LCB gap with Ed Francis who is about as aggressive as a cautious hamster.

Also, Ryan Woods is so exposed as a ‘no.6’ teams are just running riot through our midfield and we’re so open.

Last season, and this sounds mental, barring the mad 16 game run of no wins, we were producing play off form. So we know Caldwell can get a tune from the players but we’re just so damn streaky with our form.

Hopefully we can pull out 2-3 very good signings in the next 5 days and we ‘should’ have enough to stabilise once again, but that’s easier said than done!

Exeters bad slump looks like costing Caldwell a job at the Toughsheet
Was last seen handing his hi viz and steele toe boots in at the cabin

hahaha, serves you right. We haven't played well since we played Exeter at the end of November. I even told a lad who put us in his acca to not bother but he chose to not listen. If anyone, I would back our opposition until PP goes back to basics.

I honestly wouldn't have a clue.

We were honking tonight. We played better when Wycombe gubbed us 5 zip.

Shrewsbury fought hard but ultimately if they weren't going to take the bull by the horns and get something there, they never will.
Give over, the Wycombe game was magnitudes worse. We played alright the first hour until the long injury break and lost all command of the game afterwards.

Fair play Shrewsbury I expected they'd sit back and counter, but they pressed strongly for long periods and passed it quickly and with purpose. Seen far worse sides at EP.
