Compounded this morning by Colin Calderwood leaving to be assistant at Southampton, a big blow for us.

I can’t see us getting anything from tomorrow, a depleted squad light on attacking options, which is getting quite depressing. 2-0 Derby I think.

Before the original game was postponed we we’d sold 1,000+ and they were still moving quickly so it’ll be interesting to see how many go. Think we’ll take 1,000 or so still.

Hoping for a nice Lincoln home win, just to give us a bit of breathing space as Bolton play their game in hand next week. Otherwise both side 3 behind us, then more than likely we get beat by Charlton (our one true bogey side) on the 11th, Oxford and Bolton win then all three of us are on level points!!

Apart from that away win at yours last season, our record against you is appalling. Especially away. Before last year's win we hadn't beaten your lot since 2016, we hadn't beaten you away since 2001. Since we returned to the EFL in 2014 we've only picked up 7 points against Wycombe out of a possible 36!

Only 2 points behind you, but since the start of September we've been poor and have been in relegation form. Last week was better, and we'll need to put in the same effort level as we did against Portsmouth if we hope to get anything.

Equally, Warne has been given the vote of confidence after meetings and promised funds in January to strengthen. Fans are not happy in the slightest and I can imagine that the mood will be toxic tomorrow night.

A number of fans have said they're not going tomorrow in protest, so we'll see. I think it will be our lowest home attendance for a long time (in the league). Clowes obviously thinks he has the right man, but definitely feel there is an us vs them mentality at the club - us being the players, manager & staff and them being our own supporters. Snarky celebrations and offhand comments in interviews.

A lot can happen in football, but I can't for the life of me remember a situation like this that has gone on to improve. I definitely feel like the horse has bolted and what we're doing now is prolonging an inevitable situation which I feel in turn will have a longer lasting detrimental effect in turns of the fan's opinion on Clowes' running of the club. It's a huge mess.

You looked on par with Stevenage (although I felt you were a better footballing side) and they did ok against Derby.

Problem is we’ve known exactly where we are light all season, not taking chances is killing us. Benefit is we aren’t far away and we’ve got some kinder fixtures coming up (after derby), win a few of those and it’ll settle everyone down.

Lashers at home Wednesday, can't remember the last time Fleetwood played a league game in mid week. Few injuries from the weekend, all key players Quitirna, Rooney and Wiredu. If we get 1 out of the trio playing that will be a bonus. Visitors must start favourites, just hoping we can put in a ( long overdue) good performance. Fingers crossed for a draw 2-2

Mandroiu is back after suspension, which is a massive plus and he'll go straight into the starting XI. Doesn't sound as though there are any other injuries, so it'll be a decision about whether to risk Jackson or manage his minutes and whether to give Vale a start but will probably only last 45 minutes.

Walker is back on the grass as well so hopefully in two to four weeks we'll have a full front three of actual attacking players!

Oxford sound like they've had similar issues to us up front and lack of options? They've always played decent football when we've come up against them down the years and it'll be no different.

I'd take another point from this I think and head into the next two games, both in the Cup.

Cambridge looking incredibly solid in defence, whilst utterly indifferent in attack...BUT, they've had by far the best chance of the game, and they should be 1-0 up.

We've offered a lot of pretty passing, but created very few clear-cut chances. We hadn't been getting Sam Vokes involved at all up front, but he pulled up crocked just before half time, so now we'll have even less physical presence up top...not great.

On the balance of play I'd predict it to either stay at 0-0, or perhaps CUFC bundle home a stoppage-time sickener on the break.

CUFC setting up their stall very much like Shrews under Cotterill, solid as fuck but incredibly dull. Oh well - very much highlights our own attacking frailties and lack of cutting edge.

That is a shambles to be fair.

The bit I don’t understand is, if the Gas and Gills were in for him as well, why they didn’t just throw more money at you - 250k is nothing for a proven goalscorer at this level.

He was told in January if anyone offers £250k then he was off. He had no interest in Rovers or Gills. He wanted to go to Derby, but Derby weren't allowed to pay a fee or somesuch, so Charlton basically got a steal.

The best bit is our chairman trying to say that there was no such agreed figure for him to go, but there was a value that had to be breached for us to accept. Apparently they are different things.

To be fair, many games have played out in a similar vein, however followed a decent first half we concede a chance/do something against the run of play to make the game much more difficult than it needs to be.

We weren’t at our best last night but 2-0 away from home is excellent. Lincoln were really poor, though I gather both commentary and supporters were magnanimous in defeat.
