We've got MK Dons away on FA Cup 3rd round weekend, so if we both go out I'm not fussed.

Think we'll go for it. Mullin is suspended for Gills so will play in this one, same with McClean. Impossible to call tbh, two good sides. Saturday night game so my levels of shittalk will be even worse than usual, apologies in advance.

What are the red and green arrows after the teams names signifying?
They are a bloody nuisance at this stage of the season.
Green arrow, last season's promoted teams - red arrow, last season's relegated teams.

Getting excuses in ready but wouldn't be too arsed if we lost this so long as it wasn't a hammering, it would be an acceptable exit to a good side. Cup runs are great and we've had them the past 2 seasons but it would actually be nice to maybe have a couple of free weekends and not be travelling up and down the country.

Parky loves a cup run though so I would expect a strong lineup from us.

No idea if Young and Kemp will be allowed to play in our FA Cup game v Aldershot. If not, we’ll have 13 ‘professional’ players available. Going downhill at a rate of knots. Aldershot may be a decent price.

Just looked - 5/1

Pretty sure we'll play a team about as strong as the Paint pot. A shame really as we could do with a money spinning cup run to use in the window.

Rubbish, having a good cup run or going out in the first round will not have any bearing on what we do in the window

If you've had 900ish tickets originally then there's no chance of any more. If you had a smaller Initial number then 900 odd us the max you'll get.

I suppose it could be argued we’ve already had our cup and with a chance of making the Qtrs of the league cup tomorrow, without wanting to sound ungreatful its just the wrong bloody cup, the prize money involved is absolutely fuck all, the prize money so far has been £22,000 - which whereas is better than nothing, it’s not close to the £213,000 you get if you get through round 3 in the fa cup this year.

Clough likes a cup run and he won’t want to lose to a rival so i’d imagine a full side from us.

I think we'll probably go strong this year. Mostly because we don't really have enough players left to change everyone, but whatever our reserves are currently will be playing at Lincoln in the pizza cup next week anyway.

Its rubbish, you only get 100k I think for actually winning it! We've made more from the two Pizza Cup games than this.

You'll likely get through here mind, we've got 8 largely key players missing and our form has nose dived, we will do what we do week in week out, look superb between both boxes but useless in either.

therein lies the problem of premier league teams baiting lower league clubs with the money

For me if you’re a proper fan you should never be attending a pizza cup game while there are b/under 23 sides involved.

So. match day. The bay galacticos pitch their wits against each other. Only 14 miles between us but 49 miles by road. Not been to Holker Street for many a year. Always had a soft spot for them as family originally from there (the 6 fingered side :shifty:). Should be a good atmosphere, should be a good match. Excited about this.

0-0 then?

Pizza cup game for us but the majority are too worried about the inevitable awful appointment to know it’s even happening.

Yeah agree.... no bad blood as far this local rivalry match goes, good little working class town like Barra.....and enjoyed you lot winning promotion against Newport in the final.

That being said I think we are ready to give a team a drubbing.....and I’ve counted all my fingers to come to the conclusion it’s going to be 12-0

24 hours after winning 2023 Men’s team of the year, Man City are being pumped 3-0 by our lot. Humbling. Will Haaland come on at ht in the pizza cup?

Hoping Oboavwoduo gets on. Would love to hear Kiwomiya have a go at his name. Struggles with Smith.

Dom Telford scored from a Acquah knock down.
Morecambe were lucky Senior wasn't sent off for a 2nd yellow in the 1st half and Morecambe took him off at half time.
If what i've heard is correct one of the Morecambe contingent in the directors area was taken away by police at half time for racial abuse.

Morecambe were horrific, assume it was an off night because how could they have gone second with a win? Worst team I've seen at Holker Street so far this season and that includes ten man Sutton. We were good, excellent defensively, George Ray was immense and looks a completely different player from last season.

Morecambe will blame the ref but they were the first beneficiaries of any dodgy decision making, Senior should have been walking after a cynical foul on Newby about 35 minutes in having already been on a yellow.

Fourth clean sheet in a row, can't complain at how solid we are at all, just need a few more goals at the other end.

Wow, I thought it was just a standard fan. I guess the main reports aren't providing that detail.
