Poor first 15, Barely put a pass together. They've just had a goal disallowed for offside

Hills wins a header, their lad comes in late, hits Hills then goes down, ref somehow interprets it as a free kick for Northampton, spends two minutes pissing about before it can even be taken. I hate having a go at refs but this bloke is beyond pathetic.

They seem to be getting worse every year. We had a free kick for offside on Saturday. The ref made O'Connell take the free kick in their half

2 absolutely woeful teams here. Were maybe slightly less woeful, but it’s appalling

Shrewsbury will improve 2nd half though no doubt and go onto win

A very predictable half. I'd imagine both managers would take this 0-0 as well.

And of course we have the Huddersfield loose definition of being inside the corner kick arc, which is perfectly fine.

Deserve to be ahead against Stockport. Think we’ve been the better side and have some good fortune. Perry got a hell of a whack but it was mostly self inflicted and their fella won the header, we were all quite confused to see him marching the Stockport lads back for a free kick.

Feel like one of ours will walk second half, ref looks the type and he’s had his cards out sharpish tonight. All in all deserve to be ahead I think, Stockport not created much and I think we’ll rue the huge missed chance for the second that Perry didn’t take.

One-way traffic for the first 30 mins tonight v Burton, but in fairness to them they came back into it for the last part of the first half, so we have to stay right on top of this otherwise they could get a foot back in the game. Don't think this will end 1-0.

We won’t score tonight. No threat at all.
2-0 more likely.

We don't deserve anything from tonight tbh. Probably our most insipid performance this season.

Edit - and of course just as I pressed enter...!

Very little quality in that match.
Fletcher with the winner. Probably offside tbh. Draw would of been fair.
Ref was awful

Pinched a dreadful game with a very offside goal from Fletcher. Huddersfield are absolutely woeful going forward.

Massive 3 points. If only we could win at home.

If only we had a forward!

Much better again, better side than wigan on the night just no end quality.

Another point though. especially with crawley burton and cambridge losing

Not a classic. Both sides awful in front of goal- but a good result which keeps Wycombe in sight.

Tonight wouldn’t have looked out of place in NL South

Think we probably were the better team overall, but I’m not sure that’s anything to really shout about

A much needed win at Sincil Bank.

After 6 mins, and going 1-0 down, any team fighting for their lives, you would expect them to turn it dirty, make it ugly, make it difficult etc.

Crawley weren't that at all. Happy to give them all the possession and just pick them off.

It was important for us to respond swiftly. Got into some good wide positions first half and played some entertaining stuff and many chances.

2nd half was a non event. Keeping Crawley at arms length without giving away any chances.

As Crawley pushed forward, they looked more and more fragile at the back. Great 4th goal from Gardner and could have been more.

Crawley are going down. Liked the look of Quintirna but they were far too lightweight, no fighters. Expected a difficult night, but a routine, much needed win.

Didn't celebrate though, as we'll lose on Saturday ....

Good win for us, I acknowledged it with a gentle nod and left the stadium in silence just in case we have a poor season in 2034.

Not much between the teams again tonight and a draw would’ve been the right result. Any chance of autos gone now but that’s no goals in our last 6 home games now so we can’t complain about that. Two more injuries tonight of course.

you ought to have seen our game against wigan, christ alive.

Geography dictates neither of us would join you in the NLS, we’d easily have been in the northern equivalent tonight.

Still, another point on the board. Slowly slowly slowly getting there.

2-0 more likely.

Burton looked decent in terms of some of their possession play, but yes, seemingly precious little finishing threat, a couple of decent chances just got blazed over the bar.

Awful comedy OG from Armer as well, I said you didn't have a finishing threat, well you did, but at the wrong end.

Great showing from Crocombe though, at least 3 point blank saves.

Yep a cracking header completely out of the blue - and then all of a sudden you look like Brazil!

No secrets about how you lot play but it was very very effective last 10 with that Icelandic fella on. At 7:45 I’d have taken a point, with 78 minutes gone gutted with a point, and with 90 minutes gone screaming at the ref to blow the whistle!

Huddersfield could still be there for another 2 days and wouldn't score. Charles is diabolical.

Players worked hard for that, they deserved it for that alone.

Was our goal offside? Haven't seen it back but hearing it came off a Huddersfield player.

There might be another case for a foul.

Stockport County.
We were as bad as I've ever seen us for the first 75 minutes. Fair play to Northampton for that though, just got after us from minute one and never let us breathe.

Icelandic gun man buries a peach of a header moments after coming on and then we had some great chances to win it.

Would have been harsh on Northampton though. I'm content with a point really.

Andresson actually looks a really good striker going off Saturday and his short cameo tonight. Really bright forward player.

Wootton was the stand out I think, seemed to have a magnet on his head.

Judging on that I think we’ll be ok this season.

Challinor launching it to the big men up top these days is it? Fair play, got to have different strings to your bow in this league.
