All we can do is our thing. Easter Weekend will tell us if we’re the real deal in fighting for automatics or running down time to the play offs when we face Sheffield Wednesday at home and Oxford away. Keep winning games and then even if we do finish third we go into the play offs in exceptional form.
You reckon after last night? They are going to have to get over that with a win against Sunderland on Saturday to get back on track.

Oxford still have to play Sunderland, Rotherham and MK.

Looks like their race could well be run.

However you are a very good side and have got some excellent individuals who look like they could be playing higher. Based on that tonight I think you’ll get in the play offs.

Hopefully we are coming into form at the right time, but I suspect last night was a one-off, we were on our game but also I guess that wasn't your strongest XI.

Personally at this stage I give us about a 1 in 3 chance of getting in the playoffs.

My mate sent me one of those computer prediction things based on all the stats, which gave us a 12% chance of getting promoted, all speculation of course but I think that's about right.

Results weren't too bad for us last night, Bolton got some injuries last night which will weaken them for Saturday.

Unless we win on Saturday, which I suspect not.

Defensively we concede almost any shot on target (which isn’t many but that’s where frustration builds). Largely we outscore opponents so the issue gets brushed under the carpet re: defensive issues by virtue it wasn’t costing us all too many points.

Over recent displays we simply can’t convert basic chances. Our xG last night would have been huge. Yet we allowed two avoidable shots on target… Two goals.

We no longer look convincing nor promotion hopefuls. Our frailties have been brewing for a while, particularly defensively.

Wednesday worry me more, but going to Oxford a few days after that massive game will be tough no matter their form.

For a team who has been rolling out the same 14 players for the past 4 months due to a very small squad with injuries we earned the right to rotate last night.

I wouldn’t expect you to understand that though coming from a club with big financials and the luxury to rotate without it effecting the quality on the pitch too much.
I like Bonner and the way he sets his teams out but you have to play your best team. I can accept it if he was playing a fellow mid table team

They can do whatever they like - their manager can pick any team of available players to him. Who are you to determine who is and isn't part of their best 11?
you just dont get it do you !!

Santos and Dapo defo missing for Saturday and Santos likely to miss rest of season now. Already lost Fossey and Kieran Lee, Dempsey is injured now and Declan John is a doubt. Also a rumour today that Dion Charles has fallen out with the manager (no idea if true). I think we may will be on the end of a hiding… we have nothing to play for and defensively will be all over the place without Santos.

Just seen our pre match interview with Evatt saying that we also have Illness in the camp so may well be even more missing. Thank god we have nothing to play for now

Can Cambridge be on the beach on Saturday aswell please? Ta.

That's the plan.

Of course, Wes is quite good at beach football when he can tear himself away from the Guiness and the golf.

Ipswich were hoping for that too.

I think Tuesday was a combination of resting players and the players who played were still tired from the game at Ipswich. Add to that the quality of Wycombe on the night we got a pasting.

I expect a few of the rested players to come back in Saturday and we'll see a reaction.

I hope you stay up though so wouldn't be that bothered if you got a result.
