A few games being played that were postponed due to the Queen's death (I'd assumed there would be more but the other postponed games must have been played already)

AFC Wimbledon v Leyton Orient
Harrogate Town v Carlisle United
Mansfield Town v Bradford City
Rochdale v Salford City

The four teams sat between 6th and 9th on 27 points are all playing with Bradford and Mansfield playing each other. Carlisle and Salford face relegation threatened sides. Any of those four could elevate themselves into 4th place in the table with a win (though Mansfield would need a few goals).

Orient could put some daylight between themselves and 2nd place after a small blip earlier in the season saw Stevenage catch up.

Harrogate and Rochdale just above the relegation places are both at home against playoff chasers and a win for either could see them jump two or three places away from the bottom two.

Wimbledon are also playing.

I'm glad it's not a home game, we're much better away for some reason. Five unbeaten, four wins and back to back clean sheets on the road so should go into this with some confidence.

Hopefully East to come in for Gilliead, possibly Banks too and Cook will definitely replace Angol. I'd back Cook to break his mini slump as he loves playing against his old sides.

Mansfield a good side, especially at home so would expect a tight game. 1-1 Cook.

Orient at home tomorrow. I can't really see anything else other than a fairly routine win for them. I don't think we've kept a clean sheet for about 15 game's .

More than expecting us to be beaten and can’t say I trust Hughes to make the changes AR27 mentions in dropping Gillead and Pereira for Banks. It’s a midfield that just doesn’t work but one we keep putting out and getting the same failures game after game.

We're supposed to be playing Crewe but Pep put the call in and demanded that we play his U23s instead.

Harro-fucking-gate.

Our record against them is absolutely woeful. Our away visits since they've been in the league have seen 2 postponements, 1 abandonment and 3 defeats. Oh and zero goals scored.

On current form we should be going there and winning, but this is Harro-fucking-gate.

Not played well for about 6 games now, so unless we decide to kick in to gear it be another home defeat.

Away at Wimbledon for us, should've beaten Crewe last weekend but very happy a sucker punch 92nd minute winner came against us in the cup rather than the league.
We rested a few so should be heading into tomorrow with a mostly fit squad.
As with most weeks, if we play Smyth, Archibald, Moncur and El Mizouni then we'll be a handful.
Still only 9 conceded as well but not expecting an easy game.

We're away to Burnley in the efl Cup.

Play like we did Saturday and it will be a Cricket score.

Second away game of four for us this month with now a free weekend at the end of the month.

The six rested players from Saturday Happe, Pratley, Smyth, Drinan, Archibald & El Mizouni will all likely be reinstated to the starting XI.

Wimbledon seem inconsistent but they have picked up seven points from their last three.

Our problem is taking chances, Saturdays first half another example that we don't quite have that ruthless ice cold streak in us and last week against Salford which we should've won by more than the 1-0 that it was.

At some point we're going to control a game for 90mins and get done on a set play because we're also not the tallest side.

Away games at Harrogate and Stockport after this, if we manage 5+ points out of these away games I will be happy enough because we won't win all three.

I think there's a definite chance we might win all three.

We're better than all three of those teams.

His understudy is Devante Rodney, no wonder their as bad as us!

Watch him get a hattrick tonight..
Rodders would probably get a regular game in our team though

Dale fans, how has that Campbell from Woking who you signed last Jan done/doing? Never really see him on any scoresheets etc. He was like 3rd or 4th top goalscorer in the NL last year at the time of them buying him. Didn't know whether he was just a 6 month wonder. I think Woking said they got pretty good money for him too?

Prediction.

Harrogate 1-0 Carlisle Utd

It’s Harro-fucking-gate so it’s a guaranteed defeat, however good or bad the 2 teams are doing.

He’s injured. I like him personally, as do most of our fans, just can’t seem to get him fit at the moment. He’s played about 25 minutes all season, with the majority of those minutes in an EFL trophy game, the other was about 7/8 mins at home to Orient where he came on as a sub.

Rodney started the season fairly well in a team that was struggling a lot. He’s been poor IMO last few weeks, and we have definitely missed Quigley. We’ve been pretty unlucky last two games losing them both 1-0 (Walsall away & Bristol R away), where we’ve actually created the better of the chances. A little extra luck would be nice since we seem to be missing that not just on the injury front but also in front of goal.

5 dropped/rested for Crawley (at Burnley) after Saturday's failure.

It will be interesting to see if Oteh and Telford can strike up some form of partnership up front.

We’re currently leading Man City U23’s 1-0 in the Pizza Cup and I’m struggling to contain my excitement.
