Since Bentley came in we’ve been a lot harder to beat and concede a lot less than we were doing, so that in itself gives us some hope, just need to get to January so he can add a few of his own players. I think we will be fine this season personally. If Stockdale was still here we would be doomed. Awful manager. We have definitely missed Quigley while he’s been out injured but Hendo has put in a decent shift last few weeks. Also still missing a few others, but like I say, I think with JB in charge we will stay up this season.

Middling. Knows where the net is but tends to drift out of games. Better central than on wing for me, but we play 4-2-3-1 and he has Quigley, Henderson and Tahv Campbell for competition as the 1. I'd personally try him as the middle of the three just behind...

We all know where we would like our team to be strengthened and hope something can be done in January but hard times have become harder and it won't be as easy this year. One thing you have in your favour, it is still possible for you to progress in the cup and get a televised game at Old Trafford.

We have such a small squad I’m sure funds are avaliable, we currently have zero left backs fit, hardly any strikers fit (the ones that are play in defence) so it’s a bit of a shambles, I mean only having one LB on the books is daft from the management.

I don't think we'd have had that performance at yours if Curle was in charge, not that we're miles better but a bit more competitive than we were.

I think so. As others have said we seem harder to beat. When we lose its the odd goal, not a hammering. Players seem a lot more confident now too.
I don't expect any play off charge but lower mid table isn't an outlandish target and hopefully push on from there next season. I was a bit underwhelmed with the appointment of Bentley to begin with but early signs are promising and I think he'll do well here.

There's no world beaters in this league (as with last season). I said at the start of the season most of us are a short run of form from play offs or relegation.

Don’t get me wrong, we have our fair share of morons and they always come out in the local games, the person that threw the smoke bomb when we was 2-0 down with 5mins left is an idiot, but what I saw from the stewards/security on Tuesday night was pretty poor.

Excessive searching and too many check points outside the away end, everything was done slowly as well.

Inside they was offering people out for fights and being very heavy handed for no reason at the end of the game. Not enough female stewards too with men allegedly searching ladies when they was trying to get in.

It was one of the poorer operations I’ve witnessed.
