Right let’s get lively.

We’re off to Stevenage to see if we can manage to register a win against a team who aren’t 2nd when we play them. I’ll making the short hop, a lovely round of golf in leafy Hertfordshire and then off to the game with my mate down that way. He’s a Spurs STH so I’m sure our football will go down a treat...

Really fancy us to win as Stevenage seem to be struggling. 3-0 away win.

Hope we can defend better on Tuesday. 97th minute winner for us please.

Tricky one, we’ve had an excellent start when you consider we’ve probably had the hardest fixtures on paper so far so don’t need to fear it but will be a tough ask with injuries mounting up.

If Manny is back that would be a huge boost though.

Take a draw but would really start believing in us if we can beat them following on from the FGR performance and result and the Plymouth win.

We’ve only had one real shitter so far and that was the second half at Grimsby so hopefully keep the levels going.

Our first Tuesday loss - lump on;

GK: Richard O'Donnell

RB: Kelvin Mellor
CB: Paudie O’Connor
CB: Ben Richards-Everton
LB: Connor Wood

RW: Zeli Ismail
CM: Callum Cooke
CM: Matty Palmer
LW: Harry Pritchard

ST: Clayton Donaldson
ST: James Vaughan

Dil Connolly and Danny Devine may miss out, but the above XI could well be our strongest starting XI (fittest). Perhaps too attacking; hence why I think we’ll lose. We’ve only conceded 5 goals in 8 games, but.....

2-0 Chelts

I'd like to know how many teams have got their first win of the season against us/winning off a long losing run.

I always get that impression as well, however we had one over Newport on Saturday after their undefeated run.
Like last season, a 91st minute winner from our current goal machine would do again...

We don’t do midweek games very well, but it’s hard to see anyone living with us at the moment. Scoring for fun and the costly mistakes at the back are at a minimum as it seems opposition sides are scared shitless to attack us.

May not last, of course, but at the moment footballing life is sweet.

Taking the wife to Salford (lucky lady), new ground for us both and hopefully three points for the Town.

Looking forward to confirming that we have taken six points off you in February again...:fish:

Don’t mind in the least if it’s part of 1 defeat in 8 again.

Anyway, surely you can’t expect getting Stevie Wonder to run the line again!

Is Oyoleke really that good, as he was average for us.

Yes... on the occasions he is fit which has been rare. We had a ridiculous stat last season where we didn't lose with him in the team for ages but didn't win without him! (feeling we actually lose each game actually!)

We've improved in dealing with life when he isn't there thankfully but makes us much better when he is fit.

We've generally looked incredibly toothless so far this season so I wouldn't be too concerned about mistakes at the back tomorrow night.

I can’t see beyond another loss away to Macclesfield coming up. The speculation around Flynn leaving for Lincoln is having a negative effect.

I think his biggest problem so far is that he has been brought in as a Szmodics replacement but he's an entirely different type of number ten. There is a lot of pressure on him as Szmodics was obviously a huge favourite, but his endearing all-action, non-stop running style of play is clearly not what Brown is about - and we all know how much fans like to watch players running around.

We've been struggling to pass through defences at the moment and Brown has shown glimpses that he can be that player for us, he just hasn't been on the same wavelength as the others yet. But you'd hope that's the sort of thing that develops with time.

Brown does get labelled with the lazy tag when things aren't going your way. He'll see many passes on a pitch others can only dream of, so he's a luxury player to have in league two but I'm not sure you can have that type of player away from home when you need runners.

Hopefully. And we'd get a nice shiny trophy for winning the first Unsponsored Derby of the season.

Yes this is a real thing from Paddy Power. Shoot me now.

Wow - we're so small that not even Firthy has started a thread for our game against Bradford.

I've got a bad feeling about tonight's game. We're bound to lose at home at some point, and having won away on the weekend it stands to reason that the tide may well turn.

With that being said, we're playing some good stuff at the moment and in Ryan Broom we have a player who can seemingly do no wrong. Whilst the pessimist says we'll lose, I don't see why we shouldn't be favourites tonight.

Being a midweek night game means I can't go, so Radio Glos better be on form.

Feeble excuse, it wasn't exactly shock of the season losing to Northampton and was your first defeat

There is talk of a couple of changes to our usual line up, but I can't see it myself. We'll have a strong line up, and if we can get our noses in front early, we should have the confidence to take all the points. Used to love a game under the lights, its nights like this I miss the most being down under

If you score first you'll win, we've not come back to claim a point yet... that said we've only trailed in the league for 50 minutes in total all season. (Although did come from behind to beat Shrews in the cup).

Good home record against a good defensive record = 0-0, which I’d take if offered now.

New ground for me tonight, taking over 1,000 which means we’re bound to lose.

Looking forward to tonight's game but the warning lights are flashing for me. Colchester at home on a Tuesday has 0-1 written all over it big time. Some talented players in their squad and some ex Swindon too. Quite a similar feel to the Northampton game. Plus they've already dicked us 3-0 this season, albeit a much weaker version of us.

Got to stay positive and predict a win though. An early goal would be lovely. 3-1 Town.
