Match Day Tuesday March 21st

I do think there needs to be a balance though of match days for "local" games. Yes it might help a couple of dozen more go to a Tuesday night away game but how many are you losing against if it was a Saturday. I would think using the likes of Tranmere and Wrexham for us as example, we'll be well into the hundreds of away fans that don't come, which is worth a fair bit of gate money. Likewise so many of the bank holiday fixtures don't make sense in this league.

And don't start on the bubble.....

Local games being midweek has nowt to do with more supporters going, but making it easier on the teams - especially given many are still part time here.

I agree with the more local games being midweek. However, all three of our 'derby' games Chester, Southport and Wrexham have been weekend fixtures home and away this season and no complaints with that.

As for our trip to NFU it's the kind of game we've struggled in this season an injury time winner in the home game. Think we might scrape a win but it won't be pretty or something I'd stake any money on.
