And I would like to take this 2 for 1 opportunity with another proper tune. A case of a cover version blowing the original version away IMNSHO, by the greatest guitar band of the late 80's/early 90's (except perhaps the JAMC)

You posted 2 videos not so long ago Vanni. :lac:
I'll forgive you though. Any opportunity to watch Danzig get his silly face done in.

I fucking loved The House of Love I did, "Shine On" is one of the songs of the 80s IMO.

When I was a student at Trent poly, I saw The House Of Love, James and The Happy Mondays in one weekend. Probably cost £8 all in, mental.

The only christian rock band I like is Wovenhand, but they're aren't rock as such, more like alt rock with lots of diverse influences like country/bluegrass/folk/world music, which is to expected as WH were formed from the ashes of 16 Horsepower, another awesome band.

Robin - I'm with Aber, as I think the Mondays were massively overrated, and I never enjoyed James and a lot of the other bands from that era. In fact, I honestly don't know why bands like The Charlatans, Carter USM and The Wedding Present were so popular back then. As for The HOL, I still listen to their albums as I see their music as timeless.
