Maidenhead - 80 points, 75 scored, 25 conceded.
Ebbsfleet - 79, 81, 25.
Dartford - 71, 67, 34.

I think we can just about rule Dartford out of the title race, as they'd need both us and Maidenhead to lose 3 or 4 games and them win all of theirs.

Leaves us and Maidenhead battling it out with 7 to play. Both of us have an extremely similar run in. We play each other and we play one top half side (away from home) each with the other 5 being against sides in the bottom half.

We both have to play Margate, who are shocking.

This weekend, we travel to 7th placed Hampton and Richmond while they travel to 21st placed Bishop's Stortford, who we beat 8-0 in midweek. They beat Oxford City 6-1 the same night, and our last game is at home to Oxford.

I really wouldn't want to call this. We are the form side, having picked up 37 points from a possible 39 in 2017, reducing the gap from 11 points to 1. Maidenhead away on 22 April is looking more and more like the title decider as each game passes. I'm so nervous.

Orient down but Newport are making a decent fist of things going from 11 adrift a month ago to 3 points now.

National League North
Not quite as congested for a PO place as it was a month ago and Fylde are now 6 clear as opposed to 11. They seem to be limping over the line and giving Kiddy half a sniff with a game in hand as well.

National League South
Maidenhead and Ebbsfleet still have remarkably similar records but those two draws against relegation threatened Truro and 10 man(?) Hampton will probably prove costly, although they both have to play each other.

Yep, although a couple of results before Christmas are what's cost us IMO, but there we go. 16 unbeaten and still a very slim chance of winning the title, Maidenhead still have to go to Truro and we still have to go to Maidenhead so there's potential for them to slip up.

I'd be more confident going into the play offs than last year though.

It would be a bit odd if only one of them had to play the other!

I do feel sorry for Leyton Orient. Let another club screwed over by a terrible owner. I hope they actually get to play in the National league next season. I'd love to see Newport down here again, the gesticulating fans on the drive away from Wembley still vividly stick in my head. Hartlepool have done a Barnet and stuck rooted to the foot of the table for years sowouldn't be shocked to see them come down. I'm not bothered about the South although I'm not terrible keen on Ebbsfleet coming up. Inthe North I'd love Fylde to mess up and Kiddie take the title. Stockport returning through the play offs would also be good. Failing that I'd like either Halifax or Darlo to make their return.

Newport vs Yeovil is the big one in League Two on Good Friday. A win for Newport could see teams up to ourselves in 17th be sucked right into it if we fail to win our games. Conversely, a win for Yeovil would more or less see them, us, Crawley and Morecambe preparing for League Two in 2017-18 whilst County will have to bank on Cheltenham and Hartlepool dropping points because if both were to win on Friday Newport would have it all to do and going to promotion chasing Plymouth on Easter Monday could be the killer blow if the worst case scenario occurred, especially given Hartlepool have Leyton Orient that day as well. I genuinely think Newport's best hope if they were to lose to Yeovil would be for Cheltenham to enter freefall.

51 points will definitely be enough to survive which is why I'm desperate to get the 1 win we need to not get sucked in as soon as possible.
