No, I'm not about to type Snoop Dogg lyrics!

Potential movements from L1 and the NL into L2.

In L1, I've included all the way up to Doncaster and Oxford, although with two games in hand you'd fancy them to see themselves safe. Bury are looking, er, buried. Rochdale's games in hand have dried up but have clawed some points back.

In the NL, you can now finish mid-table and get promoted with the new PO system, which was introduced this season.

I've included down to Bromley because they have games in hand due to their FA Trophy run.

Tranmere had a (very) slow start and that could cost them. Since then, they've been in very good form. Wrexham, Aldershot and Boring Wood have been there or thereabouts all season but had a drop off in form that has seen Sutton and Macclesfield open up a bit of a gap.

Sutton currently top having played a game more.

All sides with 3G have agreed to put proper pitches in if they get promoted. Sutton are one (Boring Wood and Bromley, too, maybe?).

Oldham and Rochdale down and I’ll be happy!

Expect Dale to be around the play offs next season should they come down.

Can’t see Oldham coming down they are a solid enough side, with decent individuals.

Be great if Macc came up, good local away day. Sutton would be interesting too.

that group coming down from L1 are utter shitters.
if oldham replace northampton that is the worse set of 4 away days to have in the entire football league.

the prospect of Bury, Rochdale, MK Dons and Sutton should be enough motivation for any team around the playoff spots. Count yourselves lucky Barnet!

Things could look a lot more "North West" next season.

Macclesfield and Wrexham (served their time like Grimsby, Lincoln and ourselves) would be my bet from the Conference. Tranmere seem quite capable of shooting themselves in the foot again but would still add to the NW complement should they stagger back.

If Rochdale can use their cup form and games in hand to survive, I could see it being at the expense of Wimbledon rather than Oldham. Anyway, two more from the NW is favourite. My bet would be Bury, Rochdale, MK and Cobblers - with at least 2 of them favourites to keep up the YoYo tradition and bounce back with the other two hopefully dallying with back to back relegations.

Good. I don't want them in L1 next season with us.

Although Accrington and Chesterfield and/or potentially Port Vale looking like exiting the division. Think Grimsby are down after yesterday's result.

Hadn't realised how poor MK had been, what's gone wrong there?

Walsall might be in trouble looking at the form in League One!

If we stay here then Oldham, Rochdale, Bury and Walsall down with Macclesfield, Tranmere or Wrexham coming up.

If we go down then I don’t care who comes down but I’m not sure about who I’d want come up. The idea of being replaced by Sutton United, Dover or Boreham Wood is utterly depressing but I’d also hate for Macclesfield to replace us.

Oldham
Walsall

To come up
Macclesfield
Wrexham/Tranmere

Hopefully Luton, Wycombe and Exeter go up with it' looking likely Accrington. And Barnet and Forest Green go down, but I doubt FGR will drop. we could potentially have the majority of the league win about an hour and a half from us. A nightmare scnario for the likes of Colchester and Yeovil.

Macclesfield follow us everywhere. It's the rules. They'll go up this year.

It’d be a good time to pop back to L1. Bit more of a southern bias than the pie-munching L2.

Get Sunderland, Brum and Reading down, too, and that’s a very decent league next season.

I’d rather travel to Dover every week to watch us than have to go back to Oldham just once.

It's definitely better than it was a couple of years ago for certain, when I think our 4th most local game was Peterborough - just the 230 mile round trip! It looks like we're destined to get Accrington, but if we can get Luton, Wycombe and Coventry up and get rid of Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and maybe Fleetwood (unlikely) then it's not a bad trade off. With Blackburn, Shrewsbury and Wigan all potentially getting out of the top end of League One then the third tier will be distinctly bereft of North-West visits for us next season.

Bliss.

Lincoln on the cusp of promotion.
Not sure whether I want that to happen.
Under Cowley they have beaten FGR four games out of four and it would therefore be great not to have to play them next season if same results. However it would be fantastic to get chance to play and win a game against them and remove that monkey off our backs.

If we don't go up which is looking likely the north west sides would be good

Living in Manchester (especially for voyeur magpie) bury and Rochdale coming down would be good. I'd rather chop my foot off than go to Oldham, but will probably be persuaded anyway.

Macclesfield and one of tranmere or Wrexham would be brilliant, though Dover would be fun for the weekend.

Just the thought makes you shudder.
What is so bad about Oldham, yes its usually about -25 but it' a decent ground, good away end, decent set of fans also.

I bet it's more fun than Grimsby on Boxing Day.
Dover itself is pretty grim. To be honest most towns in Kent aren't great, but there aren't that many of them dotted around what is quite a large county. If I was coming down for the weekend I'd probably stay in Canterbury rather than Dover.

Thanks, I love Canterbury, but that much to posh for our lot.
