I'll be in the Main Stand and (mainly) seated for the first home league (or cup) match in 10 years of following the U's. I persuaded a couple of non-football fans that this would be a more authentic experience than chasing Manure tickets. Since they probably wouldn't return if I subjected them to the company and views from the Habbin (one is 5ft 4 and even older than me), it had to be done.

Luckily I found seats far enough away from the bubbling atmosphere that will be Coleman, Money and Vessey to preserve dignity but near enough to get a flavour.

We'll probably struggle to get to 5,000 for this one (4,702 with 47 visitors). I fear a dour 0-0 but would be glad of the point. I can see a release of tension delivering a 4-1 but wouldn't bet on it. Interesting that Coleman believes he has a batch of players that would attract transfer fees. Looking forward to this one much more than I did a week ago.

Would definitely take a point right now, if we play in the manner that we did on Monday we have a very good chance of winning, but I remain unconvinced until we prove we can string it together for a few more games than 1.

I think Coleman has been charged by the FA for being sent to the stands V Morecambe so he'll probably be very calm tomorrow! Traveling down tomorrow really looking forward to it :-) Its been a long time since we last played you away Rob Newman was your manager back then according to the old match report (wonder where he is now?)
I'll take a draw 2-2

I want a win just to put an end to any outside chance of relegation so we can relax and start playing football again. I wouldn't say I fancy us mind. ;-)

Really looking forward to this one. I'm missing the Burton game so this is my penultimate game of the season.

Edit: I thought for days of a quirky title but I could think if no linking between "Accy" or "Stanley" and anything Csmbridge related. All very disappointing.

It is possible that Buzz is head of Man City's Spanish scouting team.

We had 5k home fans last time out so I think the crowd will be OK - 5085.

Fully expecting a defeat and for the players to drift through the rest of the season expecting they're safe. It'll be interesting to see the team Dickie picks - he may well choose to make a few changes but I'm not going to bother trying to second guess him!

Ah the Buzz Lightyear season!

Anyway, it appears he's now a scout for Liverpool after being signed from Manchester City. Fair play to the lad.

Hmm, we're getting closer, limping over the line but almost there. Not great but we did enough to win today and it was only defensive frailties which gave Accy a way in. Obviously not happy with a draw but happy that we have almost secured League football again next season.

Oh and Greg Taylor needs to go. Jeez....

Perhaps...but, these days, I go to almost every match hoping that he'll score.

Plus points include Hunt and Morrissey doing a job (Dunk and Donaldson doubtful for Tuesday) and Richard letting the veil slip in his post match interview - recognised Birdy as a crowd pleasing chaser of lost causes but pining for a player who can deliver 10 dream passes. Oh and the point was welcome and deserved but little more.

Good God we are terrible, next two games are going to be a complete bore, followed by two massive pissups to end the season, and then the most exciting event of the lot will be seeing the cull list after that last game.

This game deserved nothing more than a 0-0 today, the fact there were 4 goals just emphasises how piss poor the defending was on both sides.
